I understand the view- I've heard only disdain and grief over SH5- but I'll be the first to admit that I was there, spearheading the fury against the new development team. I didn't like the possible trade for action over atmosphere, or the repetition of stale themes from previous titles. But I cant ...

I'd like to believe I'm a pretty huge fan, and that I know a great deal about Silent Hill, but I've never actually played any installment from front to back, and I've never touched SH:O (due to lack of PSP). To be a fan, I think you just have to love something more than what it is. SH isn't just a g...

Lets rap up the childish sniping before the mods have to.

Is it possible he's saying "brave soldier," not as a reference to being a soldier, but simply as a euphemism for being brave? It's a more humanizing statement than simply saying "I'm brave"

Sounds like it's simply another reference to the dual nature of Silent Hill

I'm kinda leaning twards the sad death reasoning, though I always figured the spirits were corrupted somehow, since they all died in the name of the ritual of the holy mother

Yeah, that video was a total recall for the hospital scene in Jacob's Ladder for me.

Very good voice acting though

My bad, what I meant was that the scene we are currently talking about doesn't require a cam hack. The one in the video I posted does.

Sorry for the bewilderment, English is a stupid language anyway

No, you're thinking of this.

This scene doesn't require cam hacks of any kind, just visiting a locker.

Agreed.

Seems like just a theme of Alessa trying to remind Heather of who she is, like with the TV set in the Mall.

When you say Gluttons, I keep thinking about the "boss" of the building, that dissapears when Heather reads the words from the tale aloud. This part always catches me off gaurd, no matter how many times I play. I can be wondering around in the room, thinking "that head's about to go o...

That trailer was good, but it still plays out a little much like Generic Survival Horror Sequel. I think it's lacking the dread, missing the balance between slow, deliberate horror and face-paced action. I did like the first-person view (which I assume you can go into at any time), but the sound mad...
