Silent Hill Heaven

I watched the first six episodes on my TV using the YouTube app. They have a playlists for every recap episode and every individual scene available on the GenVid YouTube page.

Well it's all over on Wednesday. I still haven't had the opportunity to fully catch up, but I'm looking forward to watching the full thing soon.

I want this but I can't justify that price right now. Hopefully some less expensive Short Message merch hits shelves at some point.

Are you looking at the same games? The graphics of the remake look leaps and bounds more advanced than the original game's graphics.

It’s interesting to look at another studio’s SH2 remake pitch. I really enjoyed The Short Message and would be down for another Silent Hill entry from Hexa Drive, whether it’s a remake or another original story.

That could be a really cool way to visually indicate which ending you're progressing towards.

Do they just mean ports of the original Team Silent games? The entire mainline series? I'd love to be able to play everything without having to pull out my old consoles. And getting the games to modern platforms would do wonders for the accessibility of the series.

The only thing bad about Short Message is the heavy-handed narration. It's a damn solid addition to the Silent Hill catalog.

IIRC the villa became a suicide hotspot during the pandemic (so like 2020 - but it had also been the place where the Witch of the Far East had possibly committed suicide in 1947, right?) and Maya died in 2021 (or maybe it was late 2020?).
