Well, it seems to me that what with the first person perspective, wiimote usage, no metagame interface, dynamical changing storyline and non-combat focus that this game is quite a different animal than SH1. Just my two cents.

I don't see it being a "Disguise" since she instantly corrects him the moment he says anything. I see it more as "Let me be your new Mary, i'm different and better!"

In the "Maria" ending, James encounters Mary instead of Maria, and must defeat her. But, what if it isn't Mary? What if it's really Maria, posing as Mary as she does in all the other endings? Isn't it factual that it wasn't Mary anyway? Like, instead of being her ghost, it was some sort o...

When Harry goes into the alleyway in SH1, everything turns all dark but it isnt the otherworld yet, because the blood/rust hasnt appeared. When he sees the dead body handing, the otherworld transitions and the grey child appears. it was duscussed in this one interview, i forgot where it is. Actuall...

1) The Guy you can find at the end of Nathan Ave. where the Bridge is broken, he has a map but why? There are just a X and a O drawn on the parking and the Bowling Center. Is this just another Guy who make signs on his map and died? Keep in mind the person might not necessarily be real. James' mind...

You hear it when Travis is passing out infront of Alessa's house after he saved her. So yea, this isn't much of a "theory," more a "factual correlation".

Right, and I agree. But just because it wasn't possible doesn't mean that the alien wasn't also trying to communicate. It's a valid speculation if nothing else.

The Silent Hill universe has a character like Douglas Cartland, who can find people like that. Heck, he even found Heather under her alias. To say that, "he just needs to..." is giving too much benefit of the doubt. We're not writing fan-fiction here. Fair enough, but there's no guarantee...

Yea, I know, but the implications are in favor of that direction, since the only theory posited with any seriousness is "It's trying to communicate with us!"

Yes, it is. Christabella specifically tells Dahlia that Alessa is no longer her daughter. She wouldn't have said that if she believed Alessa was Samael. If I wanted to be contrarian, I could pull a "lol she awakened to her true self." When was this? There's no evidence Alessa possessed Sh...

But in all seriousness Homecoming sucks. 0rigins is okay, if you ignore the massive fucking plotholes it makes.

Think this through. Adopting Laura requires legal papers, James needs to prove that he can take care of Laura: a stable job with decent income, no criminal record, a letter of approval from Laura's presumed orphanage, etc. etc. This kind of stuff requires James' presence be known. You don't snap yo...

Well, that's probably because the town itself is never really implied to be conscious like the planet Solaris. It might be haunted by a deity, but that's not entirely the same thing. That, and Solaris acts with active intent and direction, and Silent Hill just manifests whatever the person is thinki...

No, they don't. They think that Alessa was born a nomal child, but was later possessed by Samael. It's not really made clear one way or another. They throw around the term "Incarnation", so... But there are non-Silent Hill fans who have figured out the final version of the movie, because ...

None of the endings can be said it's "right." Even Leave, which is supposedly the most optimistic of the four endings, has a gray side because of how James is still known to be missing 10 years later. He's given no resolution to the people who were probably sick of worry. From the looks o...
