Re: TGS news/info

There’s literally nothing that I do not like about this wonderful project. It’s just perfect. Hideo Kojima is a genius, Guillermo Del Toro is brilliant and Norman Reedus is perfect. The perfect combination for Silent Hill. That’s basically what the franchise needed for so long. Brilliant minds...

Re: Vatra closing?

He said a few times in the post that Downpour was good and that he enjoyed it. I think he was talking more in general terms. I do agree though, and the brand should be treated with more care than it has even if I havn't been completely let down from any of the games as of yet. I do know they all co...

Re: Vatra closing?

I think a game does flop (even when it's good in case of Downpour) when the developers and producers show zero interest in the game and make you feel like they just wanna group some figures, characters and an overused story and an alice in wonder land kinda otherworld and label it Silent Hill. I enj...

Re: I think it would have been great if...

Yeah, Murphy's age would have been an issue if that was the twist. I think he's probably in his mid-30s. Never an issue. They would've just changed Murphy's looks afterwards as a lot of people when they can't accept something, they invent a whole reality and imagining himself to be still in his lat...

Re: Ending & Setting up for sequel [SPOILERS].

I don't see any problem with the addition of Travis at the end. Whether Travis did or did not exist before and Origins had or had not existed in the films universe, I guess using him with a now-grown-up Heather is totally harmless in addition to being a fun nudge to fans. I loved the idea of a SH2-r...

Re: The future of Silent Hill films?

I guess we need to leave Alessa alone already. I know the games have started with Alessa and took us on a journey of her story through 3 games plus Shattered Memories (Cheryl) but, the story itself has been milked way too much that there's nothing more to extract from it. We need a brand new story, ...

Re: Soundtrack In iTunes!

It's true that the first film's soundtrack is better than Revelation's, but the Revelation score has some very nice tracks too. I loved the soundtrack of Revelation in the film itself more than listening to it because you don't feel the repetitiveness and total silence in some tracks like you do wh...

Re: Claudia's Nature... [Spoilers!]

I view it in a different way. Silent Hill is all about symbolisms and there's nothing more suitable for such concept like the truth. Portraying the truth about something in a symbolic way is a Silent Hill thing. I think the Seal of Metatron merely shows what you are not what you look like. Neither L...

Re: Third movie, new story?

I'd go for Silent Hill 4 or Homecoming. Homecoming is my most favorite SH Game but for a movie, I think SH4 would be more suitable and a smart director would know how to change things in the movies so as to make the game that people complain about it being "Nothing like a SH game" to feel ...

Re: Music of Silent Hill Revelations

Seriously? I thought there will be a soundtrack made by Akira, not various samples from the same song mixed with some mediocre sound clips that they basically all sound the same.

Re: Will you buy this when it is released on DVD/BluRay?

Sure thing. It's not my favorite nor I'm happy with Basset who disappointed us after 6 years of waiting but still, it carries the title Silent Hill.

Re: So Anyone Else feel like Bassett....

Whether it's his or their fault, the film had huge hype from us fans specially after waiting for 6 years for it only to get something that only succeeded in capturing some scenes that look like the games with no relationship with the story and a soundtrack that not even a brainless person would edit...

Re: The future of Silent Hill films?

SPOILERS: I guess the ending of SH:R (if Bassett was given the chance to do it again) is a cliffhanger of it's own and a clear indication to a sequel. The film hinted a SH2 story-based sequel from many scenes. Sean Bean in front of the mirror, Rose's reflection in it and in the end he's looking for ...

I don't think it's a well known glitch cause on my second play through, I just used the codes I know without having to do all this.

Yeah let's party! I can't wait to see the poster, the trailers, the official website of the film. This year is totally bursting with a lot of nice horrors / action movies we have: Silent Hill: Revelation Resident Evil: Retribution Paranormal Activity 4 7500 The House At The End Of The Street Beyond ...

At least we got a release date, I don't think there will be a different date for other countries and if there is it'll probably a matter of a day or two.
