Re: Nikkei on the situation at Konami...
LOL. This sounds like heaven compared to what I endured at FedEx's Indianapolis hub.

Aww...see if they have those shirts! Seriously though, let us know what you see there. A lot of articles tend to leave out the "experience" facet of these events.

Re: TGS news/info
Nice! I want one. But are these for sale, and is this that the only design for it? I'm gonna look it up, but I never have much luck when trying to find things like this I want.

Re: Real-Life Model of the Silent Hills Baby Created
Nice job, though besides the Eraserhead reference it's very random for someone to make it. But crafts are fun! Seeing that in the sink during the demo/teaser was reminiscent of the creepy child creatures in the alley of the original game.

Re: Message above the doorframe ...
Cool find. Makes me wish I could play the teaser even more now. The more I see like this, the more encouraged I am that the focus will be on a more personal, psychological journey versus cult-like things we've seen before.

Re: Norman Reedus and motion capture in Silent Hills
However I think most of us would be able to disconnect the actor with the character at some point. Maybe looking at it like you would if he was in a film. He's a popular actor that you've seen in a few things so you're used to his face but you don't mind because he's actually good at pulling differ...

Re: New Silent Hill? Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro pro
Like others have mentioned, this is a sweet surprise. We all had something brewing in our minds when it came to where the next title would go and in what hands, but I'm not a bit worried now. It's just...totally out of nowhere. Reedus is versatile enough for me to be optimistic about his role. Plus,...

Re: What's your favourite line in the movie?
"Fuck Facebook." The whole bus sequence had some of my favorite dialogue. Some I know hated the inclusion of real world social networking, but it fit well there, considering Vincent's character and his assumptions about Heather as a person.

Re: I think it would have been great if...
When I realized that the dilemma in Downpour was just as much Anne's as it was Murphy's, I began seeing the Otherworld as an interdependent relationship of their guilts, fears, frustrations, desires, anger, and so on. They both have their own baggage, but the negative energies of these two character...

Re: Stupid Puzzles
Wait, what? Rubber chicken and a pulley? I'm trying but nothing is coming up. Anyway, Downpour's puzzles were interesting for me. They reminded me of the past puzzles of the series, yet held their own in the gameplay of Downpour. Where older SH titles have been very reading/item heavy ones, the newe...

Re: The Audio Commentary
It felt like Heather leaving without Chris was trying to put power back on the town as an entity. The same with Suki's presence at all. But by the end of the film, we're led to believe that Heather has conquered her past and should have more control over what is going on. It's like the two messages ...

Re: Let's list the things that happened to Cheryl
I had a couple theories about what that may have to do with, but one is highly speculative. The speculative one sees Cheryl as having worked at the shop once upon a time. She may have deleted the footage herself out of hurt because of how her parent's marriage went. The other is about her view of ma...

Re: The Audio Commentary
Yeah, I wondered that myself. It was supposed to be a separate entity, right? My guess is it was either to cut down on time or to give Claudia's character and purpose more depth. That's one thing I disliked about how her character was handled, other than her not appearing much in the film. She was o...

I always thought Anne somehow magically appeared on the boat, probably from some angle of her Otherworld experience. It just doesn't look like she was hiding somewhere on the boat, you know? But for all I know she could've been.

Wow, that song totally killed the mood of the trailer. Kind of reminds me of when they used the Korn song in the Downpour stuff.

I like all of these, except for Alessa's hair-swingy one. I wish we could've seen some of these out in theaters last year.

I felt that what they did leave unexplained (why Claudia and Co. exist when not a drop of them is seen or heard of in the original film, just how Vincent can drive a car, and why the seal has so much power, etc.) brought on much of my dissatisfaction with the film. It just doesn't seem logical to m...

Re: Deleted and extended scenes
After seeing Revelation I think they should just start over with a completely new story. That relies on if they even do another film. I hope Chris looking for Rose would turn out to be more interesting and coherent than Revelation, but I wouldn't want Bassett involved after seeing his choices with t...

Re: Deleted and extended scenes
I don't think the cut enemies/monsters even got far enough in production to be filmed and cut. Some of the scenes were cut with good reason. But a few seemed to just be longer sequences of what we got, only better because they had a bit more time to elaborate and didn't feel rushed. The long version...
