Re: I think it would have been great if...
i think sewell would have been better if he'd been the main character playing as him instead of murphy and finding out throughout the game all the f'ed up crap he was doing..he really belongs to silent hill. Sewell has no guilt, at least not as far as we know. In contrast, Murphy starts Downpour by...

Re: Homecoming vs Downpour
I never finished Downpour, and now that I've become part of the glorious PC gaming master race, it irks me that there wasn't a port.

Re: Weapon Realization
Technically wouldn't Alex be the best shooter Why would Alex be the best? Are you referring to the fact that he was suppose to be in the Army? Because ummmm he wasn't. His alleged military badassery is sometimes used to handwave his epic CQC. The idea is, dude believes he's a beast, probably saw so...

Re: What's your favourite line in the movie?
That line was Vincent joking around, I think, even if it fell flat. I agree. Problem I have with it is that, as far as we know, Vincent wouldn't have been exposed to that trope. He lived in the Otherworld, under the watchful eyes of a cult. It just struck me as bizarre that he would be aware of it....

Saw it last night. Awful, both as a sequel to the first film, and as an adaptation of Silent Hill 3. Most of my gripes have already been addressed in this thread, though.

Re: What's your favourite line in the movie?
"Does that look like a gamertag to you ?" I thought he said "gang sign". Regardless, I refuse to subject myself to this film again to confirm. "I thought everyone knew not to build on ancient Indian burial grounds." My favorite line because it makes no sense for Vincen...

Re: Monster / Character / Location Symbolism
I never understand you crazy people trying to find meaning in everything on Silent Hill. Prisoners were there because the bloody game is based on Jail and Convict Murphy Pendleton, aside from those, why should there be a meaning? But that is not the ace yet, some years ago when I joined there was a...

Grow up, Distant. He did lie. That's a fact. So you don't have a problem with him lying and changing around the continuity of the film universe, good for you. Attacking and flaming other forum members for disagreeing with you won't get you anywhere. I smell butthurt. I think we should all just CHIL...

Re: Anyone ok with Vatra doing another Silent Hill?
I think they should just give up on this series. This game is kinda fun sometimes, but everything about it is horribly generic. I'm sure they all saw this as a chance to bring the franchise back with a bang, but if their idea of a return to form is boring monsters, awful combat, a pyramidhead with ...

Re: There's no such thing as stupid questions ... Downpour F
Regarding DJ Ricks, is it possible he doesn't understand any existing rules, but is simply paranoid? His belief that he and Murphy need to speak quietly doesn't seem like it would fit in a supernatural environment, at least not to me.
