I think the same, they are back to rework on the same thing they already made perfectly.

As much as I love Akira's music, I don't like the idea of him remaking the soundtrack. SH2 music is timeless. I don't doubt that Akira will be able to make new amazing music, but I would rather see him making it for the real next SH, and not to make Theme of Laura remake, White Noiz remake, Betrayal...

Very good findings! I like the idea of the Discord, but I find it very difficult to keep track of every finding, the Discord format is not very friendly for that, is more like a chat room, so I suggest to keep writing every sample finding in this thread, specially for Silent Hill realated samples.

I know this sample is already found, but I was hearing the loops that are in Reason's Factory Bank and I found that the Heaven's Night beat was there all the time, although it says that comes from Bomb Squad library instead of the Vinylistic one you found.

Also, Yamaoka is playing an old Roland JD-800, which itself doesn't have the ability to even play any of those sounds. I don't think that it has the MIDI capabilities to trigger a sampler, but I may be completely wrong. I just searched for the user's manual of the JD-800 and it indeed has MIDI port...

I am not sure about this sample, but if you play Analog FX 1 in 260dB AMG in loop mode, forward and backward, sounds very familiar. I feel is from SH1 or SH2
