The carousel goes 'round and 'round so it's like a neverending cycle and the halo of the sun represents rebirth/resurrection.

I don't like this idea because it's just so simple. The beauty of the series is that everything is so complex and thought provoking.

I just noticed it the second time around and it was pretty neat.

I'd have to agree about the father thing..it makes sense in an icky way, I don't want to even imagine giving birth to an effed up version of my dad :\ then again it wouldn't be my dad, it would be my mom. Weirddd

I would get rid of them asap, knowing that there were some outside in the courtyard while I have to run to the other part of the building made me feel funny..I'm such a baby!
