Yeah, I was thinking that maybe he stayed in shape as a kid, trying to impress his father. Alex did seem like he would take the discomfort of eating right and exercising for the hope of some love form ol' daddy. That, or Silent Hill is a game series showing the effects of heavy drug use. Just like M...

I like the way the dogs look in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DHHO7UN ... re=related

Also, my second favorite would definably be smog.

I actually like the cover. It looks....new. As long as that doesn't mean the actual game goes the way of RE4, then I'm happy. The font looks like a kid drew it though.

I like the idea that Joshua doesn't exist. Alex has seen and done horrible things in war, and Silent Hill creates Joshua, a version of his innocence, to draw Alex into the town and make him pay for his sins. Not that original, but I think it sounds cool. I'm loving some of the ideas though, I really...

I'd say this one was pretty disturbing. It's alot more.....brutal then SH2, but then again SH2 had a "sick in the head" feel, and this one had "omg blood and gore every where" atmosphere.

I remember those damn flying things that sound like screeching metal. My least fav enemy ever. And I remember the roller coaster in the beginning and how I spent forever trying to figure out how to get pass it. Ha

Yeah their all short. Except one...although if you try you can rush through it. And 4 takes me awhile, but then again that one stresses me out so I don't play it much.

Yeah SH2 did have a sweet twist. As long as we actually progress the story, I'm happy. I'm freaking tired of waiting for this game to come out.

>>Which is why I think the nine save points means James finally has all the pieces of the puzzle and everything has come to realization. Because when you go through the door next to the nine save points there's the cutscene where James even says he now knows what he must do from there on out. Exactl...

Why can't it be both? I personally want to learn more about Silent Hill and how the cult is related to it. I love exploring the possibilities and coming up with theories. But it can also have Alex's personal problems in the game too. Oh and SH 3 was my favorite, so maybe I'm biased towards the cult.

I know this thread is pretty old, but I have something to say that I didn't hear yet. I believe that the nine save points have some meaning (I don't know what, but I like the theories I have read). But none of the other Silent Hills have any kind of mega-save point before the final boss, so why woul...

Alessa knows how God is foreseen to be born -- she knows the the religion in and out. She had already done so much to stop God from being born, it would be foolish of her to risk anything at this point. I never considered a lot of these facts in my interpretation. If that is true, then Alyssa is po...

I think Amphreded has had the coolest explanation. That sounds like an obscure enough reference for the Silent Hill team to do. But anything short of asking the creators what they were trying to represent will end up being debatable. And, who really wants to know? I enjoy wondoring how people cn mak...

That does sound cool. Very good actually. The first one wasn't that bad, just that they explained the reason too...plainly. Let us hope the sequel keeps the mysterious nature of the games.
