It has been awhile since I've done any hardcore playing or reading on Silent Hill. So I need a refresher here. What was the purpose of the chapel on the Toluca Lake Island? Is that place dedicated to the Crimson One (Xuchilbara) for resurrection purposes? Is that the specific reason James takes Mary's body there? Did the island have anything to do with the Little Baroness and its dissapearance? Do you think Silent Hill:The Arcade will allow players to go there? I have so many questions about this Island and I hope someone knows about it. I wonder if it is connected to The Orderor if it predates them.

Anyone?

I just assumed it was a random religious site for the cult.

But it looks like an old ruins of a church. It seems to pre-date the cult. Anyone know any info on the island?

Well, the cult's been around for centuries. I don't see how you can tell if a church predates it just by LOOKING at the damn thing.

I don't think anyone will know much or any info about the island, considering it's only viewable in one ending and is never mentioned again anywhere else.

It's possible that the church had something to do with the cult. Hell, it's possible that it's the same church that you go to in SH3--but see what I'm doing? Speculating. That's all anyone will be able to do with this island.

No it hasn't. The Order has only been around for the last Century. Team Silent, from the information they've provided, has given us less than one-hundred years to work with for The Order's emergence.

I've always assumed that the Order was around since the Civil War. That's about two hundred years right there.

Yeah, one hundred years past the allotted "playing ground." I believe it began round the turn into the 20th Century: approximately 1890.

150? Sorry, I'm not an American, so that kind of knowledge isn't the best.

On YouTube, there's a dandy little clip of a SH2 PC camera hack of the Rebirth ending, and you get to see the Church of Rebirth (as he calls it) up close and some surrounding shrubbery (though it's not a lot).

Just thought it was worth noting.

Yea, it's linked to in the first post. You're a bit late.
