Our super awesome BFFs over at Insert Coin have launched a brand new range ... and we think you guys just might be a teeeeeeeny bit interested ... (Apologies in advance for the page stretch!)

Yup, they've partnered up with Konami to bring Silent Hill fans this unique - and incredible - new range of Silent Hill-inspired clothing, including this absolutely kickass replica James Sunderland shirt.

Here's full details of the design concepts. What do you think?

Image

Sunderland Jacket
Alright James Sunderland might've had a few demons to fight - both literal and actual - but at least he did it in style. Our new Sunderland jacket is inspired by his original, complete with stitched detailing and four pockets, perfect for spare torch batteries...

Image
Silent Hill Radio Repairs tee
HEY! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT AMAZING T-SHIRT?! You'd think with all those local atmospherics that someone would be looking into repairing Silent Hill's radios - well, here they are... uh oh, what's all that static?!

Image
Lakeview Hotel tee
With beautiful scenery all around, Silent Hill is definitely a great place for a mini-break. We just wouldn't recommend staying in the Lakeview Hotel... you never know what you might find! This design celebrates a holiday destination that really is to die for...

Image
Silent Hill Historical Society tee
This is an additional design that we might include in the future - dependent on fan feedback! With a subtle nod to Pyramid Head and celebrating the 20th anniversary from when the game itself was set, this is a design for every visitor who lived to tell the tale...

Want to know more? Well, too bad - this is all we have to share right now! But keep your eyes peeled: Insert Coin will be revealing more in the coming weeks.

Oh, and one more thing? We'll be launching an exclusive competition in partnership with Insert Coin so that one lucky Silent Hill fan will be able to lay their paws on the ENTIRE SILENT HILL TEE COLLECTION. Sounds good? WE KNOW. So keep watching this space! ;)

These are all pretty awesome, especially Silent Hill Radio Repairs. The last one is also cool. The pyramid head is a very subtle touch, and actually reminds me of the civic center logo for the town that I lived in growing up (back when it, you know, had a civic center). Very nice :D

YES. Yes. Yes. We don't need anymore games. We just need attire like all this.

Definitely going to buy one. Clever, awesome, and different from all those bland/standard SH clothing.

A lot more creative, definitely. I've considered getting one with a minimalist Halo of the Sun before (the Homecoming version), but other than that, most SH clothing really doesn't have a lot of appeal. Some of the designs are cool, but not really for a T-shirt. These are just subtle and funny enough to come across well in company who might not have a lot of familiarity with the games, but have just enough brand recognition to get the joke.

I adore the Historical Society and Radio Repairs ones. I love that these are subtle rather than having logos plastered all over the place.

I really like the Lakeview design, if they have a womens fit I'm all over it!

Love 'em. :D As people have already mentioned, they're very subtle, sort of like an in-joke for fans. Most people would see them and think nothing of them, but a fan... ;)

My favorite is the Lakeview Hotel. It could very easily just be a random shirt bought at a random hotel's gift shop as a reminder of one's holiday.

SILENT HILL 2 isn't set in 1993, though. . . .

I like the Lakeview Hote tee.
Will there be any more in the future? (not trying to sound greedy)

The Lakeview one is definitely on top of my list.

It looks like something you could actually get at the hotel's gift shop, and that's hella appealing! :)

Not snarky, genuine question: says who?

I know there's plenty that we'll never have concrete answers for, but I'm curious as to why you say it's not set in 1993 when it's never fully clarified when it is.

Also, as official tees, these were signed off by Konami. I know: that doesn't always necessarily mean something's right/perfect. But it does mean they would have stopped it if it had been utterly wrong.

According to the "Diary of Alex Shepherd" viral marketing thingy that they did for Homecoming, it was set in 1993. The dates are intentionally obscured, but because of the way that they went about obscuring them, you can just go to the site and copy-paste them without the .jpgs used to hide them. The first Silent Hill was set in 1983, and it says that Silent Hill 2 was set ten years later.

Not to say that's official, obviously, given that the numbers are intentionally blanked and they probably had to put something there. Still, if they're releasing a shirt with the 1993 date, it's probably at least borderline canonical until they decide that it's not.

If Konami is working with them to make these, as it appears they are, then isn't the T-shirt's date as official a statement as can be made about when SH2 takes place?

I can't believe we're even nitpicking about this. Who gives a crap?

I'm definitely sold on the Radio Repairs shirt and the James jacket. Whitney needs to get one of the SHHS ones.
