Wanted to post this in all 4 forums...

For the people that do this.. would it be possible to record the whole thing but to leave all the cutscenes in and what not. I know this would make it a larger file but I would like to see the whole game again along with cutscenes to get the full expierence..if that makes sense.

Dont have my PS1 or PS2 anymore but would sure love to sit and watch someone play all the way through. Heck if i could get all 4 games run through with the cutscenes i would be in heaven.

Why post in all four forums when you can just post once in General Discussion? Use your head, please.

It makes more sense to post something once in a part of the site that's devoted to a broader topic, than four times in four separate places. That's spamming.

I hope someone can answer your question.

Why do you need to send her a PM? SH General Discussion is for talking about more then two SH games at once, and that's what you're doing, so clearly it belongs there.

No, that's what I'm getting at. :P

Anyways... I'd still like to see what this guy is asking for.

Some fellow, long ago, made an edited version of Silent Hill 2, including all of the cut-scenes, and a "realistic" version of the gameplay. The point of it was to make it a Silent Hill movie, of sorts, that could be watched from beginning to end, without all the interruptions of going into the menu & selecting the appropriate item, et cetera. Pretty neat idea, really, but unfortunately I don't have a copy of it, nor do I remember who went through in making it.

For some reason, the name Mr. Caliche stands out, but I may be mistaken. He was more of a writer than anything, and a wrote a massive SH novel.

You know if we all do are part in April it could happen on a more "realistic" medium.

I remember seeing that "Movie" for sale on eBay once, too.
As for speedruns with cutscenes -- they wouldn't be considered speedruns in SH2, because I believe it counts cutscenes into the final time. Silent Hill 3 would be different because I don't think it does the same thing.

Ithink that Silent 3 is thje same than Silent 2, it too counts the cutscenes into final time. I'm not complete sure tough...

SH2 counts them, SH3 doesn't.
But that doesn't matter anyway.
