did Pyramid Head speak?

in the scene when he's about to rip Anna's flesh off he makes a sound that sounds like "You're doom". is that what he was saying or is my center speaker shot

I never heard him saying anything. Amphreded is right. It would also be mega-unrealistic if he did speak.

Maybe you heard the doors of the church opening or something. It definatly was not PH. It sounds like you have surround sound since you mentioned your center speaker. I have that too. Next time I watch it or when I get a chance I'll skip ahead and try to decipher what you thought you heard.

I just watched it over again and I can't say I heard PH say any words at all.
What I heard was his grunts or grawling, the music and the effect of the door doing a "ooo" sound. I think that you mistaked the effect from the door.

it's the shot when he's holding Anna up right before ripping her flesh off. you hear this you're doomed darth vaderesque breathing sound coming out of the speakers.

I must be hearing things then since no one else has noticed that

Right before ripping her skin off I just hear some heavy breething grunting sound. I haven't heard it in surround yet so I can't really compare to your audio system.
But the volume was pretty high when I checked.

Yes, I can hear it. I can't make out any specific words...so it could just be grunting, but anything is possible I guess.

I wonder if he can talk but they never made him do it, in SH2 I always wondered if that scream from the prison gallow was Pyramid Head Yelling I don't know why? He sounded like some muscle guy in pain with a animal roar when I heard it, ah who knows it would be a cool sound for him yelling. I really liked the pain sound they did for him while grabbing the bar that was a weird metal hollow sound almost like a weird creepy whale.

PH moaned and grunted a few times during the skin rip, and when cybil shot him he groaned. Other than that and a few breathing/hissing sounds he never said any discernable words in the movie. That "Your doom" sound just sounded like another one of his odd array of sounds.

it must have been him groaning I guess because him speaking would be odd since he has no mouth. but then again he has no eyes but can see so anything is possible

He clearly lets out a groan when Cybill shoots his arm. It could also be somekind of shout muffled by his helmet as well.

I didnt hear him make any sounds when he tears Anna apart. I watched it yesterday but I admit I didnt pay any attention to sounds he made.

In the game, he makes groans and what not, but yea, I agree with you, it's just sounds under the helmet. Even if you don't talk, you still have a distinct voice through sneezing, yawning, coughing and making angry noises.. haha

Not saying Pyramid Head sneezes or yawns, just saying there is a voice, just no real verbal communication.
