The best DVD box I've heard about so far are those in Japan and France. They have some neat design, extra features and an exclusive booklet for France (or is it the same as the jp booklet? ). The one presented in the pictures is the Japanese version that came out with four DVDs. Compared to that, my R1 DVD movie feels naked.

Since some people have been asking what's on the discs, I'll write up a little more detailed description here.
Disc 1 - The movie on DVD,
Disc 2 - the "Path of Darkness" behind the scenes feature, and "The Making of Silent Hill" feature which was on the US DVD I believe (I don't own it)
Disc 3 - "the Truth of SILENT HILL" DVD which is exclusive to this set, features an interactive Town Map of Silent Hill, clicking on the various locales plays scenes from the movie featured in those places (hospital, school, etc.), Game overview (covers SH1 and 2, character relations, story, etc.), game and movie comparison (features side by side shots of similar scenes from the game and movie as well as character and creature comparisons), interview with Akira Yamaoka about the game and movie, Additional Products section (the SH digital manga, SH3 trailer, SH Origins TGS trailer, SH novels)
Disc 4 - Blu-ray version (1080p) of the movie and the "Path of Darkness" feature

You know, honestly, I'm kind of underwhelmed. I mean I guess that comparison thing between the movie and game is cool, but I'd really expected more. Like more scenes from the movie that hadn't made it onto the original DVD or something. Or alternate endings (yes, I know, they didn't film them, but it still would've been cool). *shrugs* I suppose I just expected something else. Cool for those of you who have it, though!
I got mine and watched the bonus discs.
Disc 2 had a behind the scenes which my original version didn't have. Think it was "Meet the starz" it was named or something (lol).
Disc 3 was rather interesting. You could see where on the Silent Hill map the events ocured, some SH1 and SH2 intro shots, character comparison and monsters. Then they shot scenes from the game and compared it to how they where similarly shot on the movie. I am however a bit disappointed on the interviewed, the guy speaks in chinese or japanese and there is no subtitles. I thought that was a bit sad, because that is what I wanted the most.
Disc 4 I haven't checked yet, but it's the Blue Ray version of disc 1 (The movie) and Disc 2 (The behind the scenes). You can play it on PS3 or on PC.
Overall I think that this item was very interesting, it's a die hard fan collectors item. The downside is that the amazing, artfull and big booklet that follows is written in Kanjis >_<;; And that the interview is not subtitled! I watched it a bit and I felt that the interview lacked a bit of emotion and passion, lol. Other than the langague diference and the interview, it's all good.
