Holy Crap! The Virun VII Crest was at Midwich in the movie!

I can't believe i didn't see this until now!!! And i couldn't find someone else talking about it on here.

When Rose is running away from the roaches and the miners being eaten.... she enters the room where Dark Alessa is scribbling at ther desk. When she FIRST enters the room and the camera changes to her first person view.... BAM!!! you can BARELY see it on the far wall (her flash light just passes under it!)

Then when the camera pans out to show Dark Alessa at her desk (the first time) you can see it on the other far wall with the big fan.... right at the bottom of the screen.

It's either the Virun VII Crest (Talismen or Seal of Metatron) or another one but its definetly there!!! They obviously didnt want it to be EASILY seen.

Anyone else notice it??? Pause with the DVD and slow-mo it to see!!!

What do you guys think????????

Here you go guys! I couldn't get the best pictures since its so dark... especially on a monitor. I tried to brighten them so you could see better!

I really don't think that's it. The triangle in the Crest encompasses the whole circle. That.. doesn't. But it does look similar.

I agree...which is why i posted the pics...so maybe some of you SH Nuts out there can figure it out!

It's not quite Halo of the Sun or Seal of Metatron....so i wonder what it is....

Honestly, I've no clue what it could be. Probably some fanservice type of doodle that they wanted to add in. I won't be able to check out the fun bits of it until Tuesday, however..

I'm in Heaven. Its a projector mounted on the ceiling using my wall as the screen (110") with black velvet for the mask....yes i do feel lucky.

I do hope that they included the Virun VII Crest though.
Doesn't quite look like it because of what's inside the inner circle from the screenshots you presented to us, but it's definitely a nice thought.

Okay. I watched it on my PSP. However, I was able to pause it at the moment where Rose flashes her flashlight at the crest.

And... sadly, it's not the Virun VII Crest.

It may seem weird, but that's what I noticed.

It looks more like the holes Henry crawls into in SH4. The Halo Of The Sun without the center circles.

Hm, it's similar alright..

I noticed it when I first watched the dvd last tuesday.. And I remembered this thread, lol.

If anything, it's probably inspiration derived from that symbol. Sorta like "heyyy, look fans, remember this?"

That's what it seemed like to me.

I believe they intended it to be the crest but didn't work too hard on it, just to sortof give the illusion that its there but its no big deal.. duno if u understand..., I guess they didn't think there would be freaks like us watching the hole movie in paused slow-mo. lol

Definitely not the Virun VII Crest, nor the Halo of the Sun. While the outer & inner circle may be the same as the Halo of the Sun, the interior is not even remotely close.

Yes, I'm aware this thread is 2 Â½ years old.

I actually noticed that symbol too, but I thought it looked like the one from SH3 and SH4. The save spot thingy for SH3. The "halo of the sun" symbol. That's what I thought it looked like, but since the camera went too fast, I couldn't tell.
