Watched it 4 times in theatres and more times than I can count at home. Ironically, I knew nothing of Silent Hill or anything related to it until I saw the movie, said Holy shit, this is freaking awesome!, and checked out a bunch of websites. I am now the proud owner of all the games, both movie posters, a t-shirt, the Brahams Herald, a piece of curtain from the set, a keychain, and a film cell plague. Most people think it's weird that I have a giant poster of a little girl with no mouth staring at me in my bedroom lol

ya Freak!
lol, kidding!
:D

Do you have trouble explaining to your friends about this wonderful game or movie? I don't even bother anymore and kind of hide my freakish fandom from people. They just don't understand.

Back on topic, I watched the movie 2 times in theatres and thousands of times at home. If my DVD was a VHS, the tape would have been warn out by last year. lol!

I just make the poor people watch the movie with me, then answer all their questions. Most people have alot of issue with wrapping their heads around the alternate dimensions/split souls concepts

Yeah, me and my brother were talking about that. I figured it's why some people don't like the movie much, 'cause it's a bit hard for them to understand the whole alternate dimension thing. I had to explain it to my mom before she saw the movie, and my brother had to try to explain it to his friend.

About 4 times due to my busy schedule, I love this film, mainly because of the art itself. It's so AWESOME!

impossible to count. I saw it four times in theaters alone.

I dreamed I lay in a dark valley and all around me were the titanic forms of archangels. I heard distant voices and I knew these supernatural warriors were chanting a litany...

Enough times to recite it. "Filth and Lies!" or the best: The Guch-Miester: "Make sure no one gets past these barricades were gonna get our ASSES up to Silent Hill."

It is a throw back name to the first game and the note you find in the police station.

I am watching it again, right now. It is on Fearnet OnDemand. And there go the sirens... is it just me or do the sirens give anyone else the major chills?

Meh. They're much more amplified and strong in this movie.

They're so loud in the movie.
What creeps me out more, is the fact that we have similar sirens that go off around here. It always makes me want to yell, "The darkness is coming!"
Out of all seriousness, if the darkness does come, I have a wooden plank to defend myself. It fell off from my brother's desk. I store it in my closet. You never know; I might need it someday. :D

this is a little off topic, but it still fits anyway but...
have you noticed that starz has seriously stopped showing silent hill since at least, I think, last year? While the movie wasn't popular, it wasn't that bad. I find it amusing that they can show the more horrible movies like bloodrayne 2, underworld, and the resident evil movie, which each sucks in my opinion yet I think they only showed silent hill a few times and now it's long gone. Thank goodness I have the dvd. :P

Hey, Underworld is a damned good movie! (even if the second one waqs an homage to the director's new wife in leather)
