Movie dialogue lines you actually liked
I searched around but didn't find this, so please close this if I missed it. Thank you.
There's been a lot of carping about how the dialogue from the movie was pretty bad, but I think some of the lines were actually quite good. Diamonds in the rough and all that. Put things that you actually enjoyed from the movie in this thread.
For me, it was the scene with Rose and Christabella at the end where she says, "You are alone in this limbo, and God is not here." I thought it was delivered very well, with emphasis and head movement right where it should be.

I agree. The dialogue in the movie isn't all shite.
I like Rose's "Your faith brings death!" line from the same scene.
I also like Rose saying "You could be her twin" when she finds Alessa in the factory. It's a nice little nod to SH2.
Anna introducing herself is kinda cute. I like her simple sounding ways when she says "Anna...my name is Anna".

"We have all lost our children..." kind of...touched me. And I got the creeps when, shortly after, Dahlia started chanting "She's mine, she's mine, mine, mine!". Good stuff.

I liked the scene where Cybil approaches Sharon when she's alone in the car. Sharon refuses to talk and winds up the window, then Cybil says quietly "Good girl". I'm not sure why I liked it. Probably because it felt natural, and probably one of the few points in the movie where the characters could act as normal people do. It also served to highlight the fact that, for all her weird behaviour and origins, Sharon is just a normal, innocent child.

I saw that movie years ago so I can't remember what you are referring to. So here...Phantom Allure wrote:paraphrasing Yoda from Episode 1?Moosefrenzy wrote:"When you're hurt and scared for so long, fear and pain turn to hate... and the hate starts to change the world."

EDIT: That star wars comment was meant to be a joke, see episode 1 clip: "Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering."
We knew what you were talking about (so no need for link example), it just sounds so very very familiar to that quote, lol.

To tell the truth, I didn't find it extraordinarily funny - sure, I smirked, but in hindsight: It wasn't funny, it was just pretty damn normal. I mean... people just tend to get vulgar if they're frustrated or ang- GODDAMN FUCKING CAT! STOP PISSING AT MY FUCKIN SKETCHBOOK!
eh... I guess it just proves my point.
By the way, I also didn't think "Look, I'm burning!" was as funny or misplaced as everyone else seemed to. I kinda liked it.
