Robbie The Rabbit

Post by Heather_Mason »

I wonder if they'll put Robbie in the movie...They haven't shown any Signs of it, at least in the trailers, he could pop up, in the movie, somewhere, hopefully..I think it'd be cute if they did, even though he wasn't in the first game....Next October, I plan on getting a Robbie the Rabbit Costume, and run around with the Great Knife...XD

I think that's the key thing there...
Then again, PH wasn't in SH1 either...

However, I personally find Robbie the Rabbit to be quite lame, and don't understand everyone's fascination with him... *scratches head*

But eh, I suppose a little fanservice such as showing a child carrying a Robbie doll wouldn't hurt... Though it might annoy some of the movie-goers when all the fanboys/girls clap and make excited-like noises...

If they somehow find their way to the amusment park in the movie, Robbie can be in the movie. I think it would be over doing it when we already have PH, though .

God, I hope not.

Yeah, I think Pyramid Head being in the movie is enough to satisfy our love for the Silent Hill "mascots". For now, anyway.

If the amusement park is in the movie, then I would be surprised if they didn't have Robbie the Rabbit somewhere. I would prefer that he would just be part of the background such as being a stuffed animal in a carnival game.

I don't think Robbie's lame, I think he's utterly adorable...I think it's the best Mascot for a Survival Horror, game...A bloody, Bunny Rabbit, I mean come on! How cute is that...X3

I suppose it might be overdoing it alittle....I don't think it'll happen but who knows...I still think it'd be cute..

No. Please no. (If this movie is amazing) Gans in my opinion
should leave room for a sequel. In that I mean I hope that he
doesn't cram too much into one movie.

I'd rather see him in the sequel. PH is enough for this film.

Seeing good old Robbs dead in the background for like, a couple seconds would be cool.
That's about it, though.

Yeah, I agree.

Really though, am I the only person who doesn't really want a sequel? :/

I don't see how anyone could form a solid opinion on that at this point in time...

Unless I guess those who do are driven simply by the fact that they want as much SH goodness as possible...
And people who don't feel that way because 99% of the time, sequels are never as good as the original...

But I dunno... To me it depends on how this one turns out and how they plan on handling a possible sequel...

Wether it be based on 3 to continue the mythology, or if they cave in and make the big-screen version of 2 they apparently initially wanted to do...
Orrrr if they take a SH2-esque route by making a totally new story that is obviously very much a Silent Hill game, but has nothing to do with the events of the first film... Which I doubt will happen...

But hey... The way I see it is if this movie turns out good, go ahead and take a shot at a sequel... *shrug*... I'm not the kind of person who lets a bad sequel tarnish the original...

I hope if Robbie is in it, I hope he shoves the great knife up PH's ass.

I don't know what to say. I like robbie, but it wouldn't have a point putting it in the movie.
An illusion was all i had,
Now turned against myself.

I've seen no indication that Lakeside Amusement Park is going to be featured in the film. If it is, they're doing they're best to keep it a secret. I hope so cause that would be a BIG mistake not to have the park(and Robbie).
