What would be everyone's ideal SH music to play during the opening or ending credits in a Silent Hill movie?
Personally I believe that they picked some good ones for the first film. You're not Here was possibly a little out of place as a song to finish off the movie with as it didn't fit the theme exactly, but I love the song so it wasn't a huge issue for me. Tears of... and Theme of Laura were also fantastic choices for the rest of the credits sequence. I still find that I always sit there once the movie is finished just to listen to the music .
Anyway I think O.R.T would be a fantasic choice as a song to open up a Silent Hill movie. Everything about it would set the tone perfectly for the rest of the film. In regards to the ending credits, it really depends on the overall theme of the film. Some good choices for me would be Tender Sugar, Room of Angel, Love Psalm, and Hell Frozen Rain. Again these really depend on the film especially considering the lyrics of each of these songs except Love Psalm of course. I guess the other options would be if you would prefer entirely new music created specifically for the film or music from a band/group unrelated to Silent Hill.
Apoligies in advanced if this has already been brought up.

You kidding with me? It fits perfectly to the whole thing with Rose and Sharon not being able to see Christopher in the apartment.
For an opening theme, there are so many good ambient songs by Akira that would fit in smoothly.

I am so glad to finally see that I am not alone in thinking this ! You are exactly right, it didn't seem like the kind of song to end the film on and the visuals that went along with it during the credits was slick, stylish MTV garbage.Fevered Dream wrote:You're not Here was possibly a little out of place as a song to finish off the movie with as it didn't fit the theme exactly, but I love the song so it wasn't a huge issue for me.
Exactly. If you're not gonna use the entire theme, just don't bother to throw in the first 10 seconds of it okay? That was an insult.ashatteredmemory wrote:original Silent Hill Theme XD
oh wait, that was in there...
Curse you evil 10 second sample!
As for what theme I wanted to hear during the end credits, well personally I wanted "Esperandote" the Spanish song form the BAD ending of SH1. I say, why not go all the way back to the game's beginning, eh? And perhaps, just perhaps I may be able to get my wish - http://www.silenthillcommunity.com/view ... f=28&t=232.
