News of the world Review!
A UK newspaper, the news of the world has reviewed the movie, giving it 4/5 stars! They say "at last, a movie adapted from a game that isnt bad"
looks like we have a winner
EDIT: here is what they said
"At last, after the naff nonsence that was Lara Croft, Doom and Resident Evil, a movie adapted from a computer game that isnt bad.
In fact it's pretty damn good, mainly because director Christopher Gans - the bloke behind weird french horror the brotherhood of the wolves isnt afraid to mess with the franchise. So instead of an Arnold Schwarzenegger style hero trying to save a missing child from a bunch of ghosts, you get a mother trying to track down her missing and terminally ill daughter.
The film doesnt stint on action, with mum Radha Mitchell, from Pitch Black, and cop Laurie Holden kicking some serious butt. Sean Bean also stars as the missing girls dad.
Theres plenty of gore and big scares, especially when the mum has to creep through a nightmareish hospital staffed by bandage clad killer nurses.
It's enough to make you wish you'd gone private!
4/5 stars"

Nice. So there's a movie screening for the critiques already?

It sounds like they haven't I know. But you have to remember it IS the news of the world. Here's some pictures:

I'm sure it would be illegal for a newspaper to review a film they haven't seen.

Well at least the fake good review might attract more people into seeing the movie, which is a good thing I guess.

I think people need to lower their hopes. Regardless if it's good or bad, there are alot of people who'r going to be dissapointed because they were expecting something more.

This is a community, and you have freedom of speech, but as a community, that freedom is restricted if you're intending to use it for offending purposes, or to simple belittle your fellow members. Remember, your freedom ends where the other person's freedom starts.

Nope. They do it all the time. I've seen tons of reviews where the person writing it criticised the movie for elements that weren't actually there, or talked about scenes that didn't happen.I'm sure it would be illegal for a newspaper to review a film they haven't seen. Confused
If you're going in blind, maybe. But us fanboys won't be criticising the plot or the acting, we'll just be cheering every time Pyramid Head comes on screenI think people need to lower their hopes. Regardless if it's good or bad, there are alot of people who'r going to be dissapointed because they were expecting something more.
