BAH! all of you heretics! P-heady is the obvious choice for this award. he was the most believable in his part. he was the most sincere to his game form. this can easily be seen in the deleted scene where he is humping the leg of cybil's corpse towards the end of the film. Cheeri-O

Many think that acting is the same as who is the coolest character comparing with the games.

I don't think the votes really shows who did the best performance, but who people think is the coolest character.

I don't trust statistics.

i had voted for alice krige (christabella), it was just a long shot for her to play such a controlling and powerful figure when she's the complete opposite in real life. Um.. idk, i thought jodelle did great with dark alessa, not so much with sharon, she's fine appearing all innocent, but would've been great if she didn't do teh mousey talking either.

I personally jsut don't like Kim Coates, his characters always bug the crap out of me, which yah know, clear sign to well acting but I hated Gucci. Anna was fine, i didn't really get why people were laughing so hard, she's supposed to be lost and cultish.. Rhada Mitchell's acting in this movie is good, but the parts that let her steal the show is screaming, because no scream is the same, its all different reactions to things.

In theater for me though, everyone ranked more on Cybil then Anna, till cybil got burned in the end, then that shut them up. No one is perfect in their performances in this movie, but all decently and well done, just Alice nailed it the best.

Alice -> Deborah -> Rhada/Laurie -> Jodelle -> Sean -> Kim/Anna o0o0oh wait forget that, changed my vote, the gas station dude was the best actor!

I liked Sharon/Alessa, and I'm not the type that gives brownie points for being a child...

With exception of the intro part of her screaming (SILENT HILL!). But really, even the best actors have a skill limit when it comes to that kind of dialogue.

Second for me was Christabella, I thought she was near perfect...voice, look, mannerisms.. In her prayer sequence in the church, I was sure she was the voice actress of Claudia in SH3. It reminded me of Claudia's verse on the SH3 soundtrack.

Alice Krige and Deborah Kara Unger.

Both of them did such wonderful jobs. I really liked all the actors, even though at times I bit my lip at Radha. Sean did a really good job too. It was very believable.

I'd like to call myself an honorary Unger fan, even though I haven't seen anything else she's been in. I'll have to check it out.

I vote... OMG I V0T3 4 L1SA LOL!!!!

Seriously, my vote went to Cybil. I thought her character was wonderful. She was a very interesting character, with plenty of emotion, ranging from her tough and heroic side, which lasted most of the movie, but Gans did show her with an emotional side (especially after Midwich goes back to Foggy Silent Hill after the madness with PH.)

Although I felt all the acting in this movie was well done. Second goes to Rose, followed by Sharon/Alessa/Dark Alessa. Great cast, great movie. Paitently waiting for Silent Hill The Movie 2.

Gans: you still have time. You haven't released a special edition DVD with a boatload more extra special features than that featurette stuff. I WANT MY GOOD + ENDING! NOT A... what would you consider the movie's ending, in comparison to SH 1's? Bad +?

I voted Cybil. I also give alot of good actor credit to the girl who played allessa. That "Meow meow" part made me want to jump into the movie screen and attack her though.

I voted Sharon/Alessa (Jodelle Ferland). She's a kid, who's VERY talented!I mean, you have to change your expressions to your very roles you have to play...I take it, that she was extremely serious when she played those roles.
Confrontation can draw to Conclusion...in a way or another.

Christophe Gans for making me actually have some hope that his SH movie would be decent.
Ho ho!
