Okay, so we know that Alessa's bandages have to be changed because we see sets of bandaging in the hospital; also if we're willing to take the game into consideration Lisa had to change the bandages. Besides, if you're not going to rebandage her from time to time, then why even keep her in the hospital in the first place?

Anyway, since SOMEONE has to be doing all this bandaging then SOMEONE has to see her from time to time, a nurse. Perhaps the Lisa they show in Alternate Room 151, whom I think changed the bandages, or some other nurse was the designated Alessa nurse, but we know that SOMEONE has to be lookin' at Alessa. Otherwise they'd be bumpin' into stuff. :<

So why does Alessa make Lisa's eyes all strange and bleedy? I mean, Bad Hair Alessa says "her anger got so bad she lashed out at even the curious" but then 1) we know that she's lashing out at real people and not just the evil clan people everyone keeps saying are dead, and 2) if she is lashing out at real people then why don't Gucci and Christopher become affected by her?

Speaking of which, if Gucci is trying to cover this up, then he is an enemy of Alessa's. Why is he not dragged to Silent Hill and killed in that final tentacle rape scene, or at least sensed and killed while he's running around the town?

Seriously, I don't know why they have to include Lisa in the movie. People who did not play the game will find it rather odd. "Lashed out at even the curious"? I wasn't too happy with that statement.
I don't know, I just find Lisa's character completely vague in this movie.

There may not have been one nurse (like Lisa in SH1) who was designated to be Alessa's nurse, since her body is not hidden away secretly by the Order in the movie. Alessa probably had rotating nurses.

Lisa just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when Alessa woke up and manifested Sharon. Alessa was mighty pissed when she woke up, and she may have interpreted Lisa's gawking as her being treated like a freak AGAIN.

Besides, she did get back at the other nurses, by manifesting them as the Bubble Heads.

Wait, Alessa "woke up" just as Lisa was peeking? I totally missed that part.

And Amphreded: I thought she said that to Rose, but I might have been mistaken (?)

Lisa looks in, then we see Sharon and Alessa touch hands, then everything goes to hell. All one scene, all in real time.

What I mean is that I don't think "Lashed out at even the curious" really explained the need of Lisa as a character in there. The movie can skip out Lisa and would still be fine in my opinion.

Then it was just another a nod to the game world, which is far more than we ever got from Resident Evil 1 and 2.

No. But Gans wouldn't make the nurse blond and wears red dress if he doesn't want the fans to assume that's Lisa right?

true, I'm sure that the nurse is lisa. and I think that Alessa wooke up upset, with all the hatred just as Lisa peeked in. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her curiousity got the best of her.

I think there should have been more of Lisa... She didn't just cry in the game, she tries to do something about it.

because her hate didn't start brewing up until later in the hospital. WHen she was resuced she was too busy hurtin'

I think Lisa is there to symbolize 'The Reapers' strength to Rose. She takes pity on her to keep watching over her, but at the same time flips her eyes so she will no longer be curious enough to peek at her again. Lisa I think also kinda symbolizes that although Alessia is alone she still has someone provided to her by 'The Reaper.'

See, I feel it as just a throw to the true SH fans, and let me tell you, being my favorite character, that scene alone made it worth the buy.

I really liked the red nurse's cameo and for some reason even though it was only a cameo, that was one of the only characters that clicked with me.

Yeah it was one of those scenes for fans to sit back and go "yay Lisa". No matter how she was used in the film, it was nice to see Gans' including elements of the game, and hey, he got it right, Lisa looking after Alessa, plus in the first game we had Lisa change with the blood running down her face, which is what the last shot of her face reminded me of. It was another tip of the hat to the games and with that, along with he music and everything else (including that cool camera crane lift and drop from Silent Hill 1 in the ally sequence with rose) it really was Silent Hill.

i think the movie was a complete sucess, i was really dreading the release because of other game turned movies. the movie really carried out what the game was like, and always leaves you with that confused feeling, as if your not truly sure of what you've just seen.

the nurse i think just signifies judgement, because Alessa was judged at school and made to feel as if there was something wrong with her, she was so angry with what they'd done that to see the nurse looking at her caused her to lash out on someone that was only curious

I dunno, when they showed Lisa looking in, and called her curious, it seemed to me like Lisa wasn't working with her at all, was just in there to clean or something, and looked in at Alessa. The way they used the film effects and everything to make Lisa almost glow, with her perfect hair and almost kindof snobby expression (as I saw it anyways), I took the whole thing as Alessa seeing this beautiful woman looking in at her deformed body, and being disgusted by it, so she struck out by trapping Lisa in there with her, and ruining her face - the constantly open and bleeding wounds, and why Lisa refused to look at Rose (after all, her face was ruined, she wouldnt want anyone to look at her lest they be disgusted or laugh themselves)

Which could also explain the reason why when they showed her bloody face she was crying. And I never saw her expression as snobby, she looked sad to me. Like while looking in the incubator. Then Alessa opened her eyes and saw Lisa there and then Lisa runs away scared. So really, the curious were lashed out upon, like Dark Alessa said during the explanation scene.. which was kinda poorly done in my opinion.
