How did he see where he was walking in that Helmet? I was semi-suprised he didn't go for the "new" look, at least that way you could sneak in a way to see with the grating.

I wouldn't have liked to be sitting in the row behind Pyramid head.

Aww that is soo awesome! I am jealous! I'm keen to cosplay when it comes out here... but as Broken Silence sed before we have to wait until the 31st of August over here!

Anyway.. I have no idea who I'd be able to cosplay anyway.. Im fairly tanned and I cant recall any tanned up SH characters. I wouldn't mind being Pyramid head, Im just too lazy to make the costume! lol

You should post a pic of yourself in the Happy Burger thread of member pictures; maybe someone could give you some advice for a costume. If nothing else, you can always make a Silent Hill shirt of your very own to wear. 8)

Hmm... good idea... Done and Done! hopefully this will help me out, thanks! I've managed to convice a friend of mine to come as a nurse, but its on the condition that I find someone to go as... so we'll have to wait and see. Once more, kudos on ur costumes!

Hey, were you the one who made the Pyramid Head costume? If you were, I saw your Myspace profile just yesterday on how to make the costume. Maybe one of these days, I'll make a PHead costume. Awsome costumes you have and I would've loved to have joined but I have a stupid full-time job that doesn't give vacation.

FANTASTIC work! What material did you use for PH's apron/dress thing? Was it expensive? How did you get that grimey look to it? I needs me some of that for a Valtiel cosplay I'm making... I hope it wasn't expensive.

Awesome!!!!! You guys rock. The Pyramid Head looked very original. The expression on the cops face is hilarious. Everyone did a very good job.

Well, I said I was gonna do this, so...
Thanks, JuriDawn, for your tips on how to get the grimeiness and all!
It's not quite finished yet, but I was so excited by how it's turned out so far, I had to put it up. I've since added another layer to the face so my eyes aren't visible and "sprayed" it with paint so it looks a little more bloody, as well as putting in those red things on his forearms. I've just gotta paint the arms and sew the "sleeves" together in the back and I'll be done with it, just in time for Otakon! Glee!

And yes- the material turned out to be expensive, as I was dreading.

I'm a cosplayer.
There. I've said it.
Please don't hate me.

Thats the best thing EVER. I almost went to it dressed up as Claudia, but I couldnt get it together in time. (Nor was I all that inspired to dress up since it would have just been me and my friend. xD)

I love the costumes. (And that someone actually dressed up as Vincent. O_O I think thats Vincent anyway...) I think my favorite is PH, and your right. The movie does flow better a secound time. :B

@Lain of the Wires: Thats so cool! I love that you made it a dress, with the spiffy boots, and yet it still looks like Vatiel. -Adds it to her DevArt favorites- I wish I were good at Cosplay. xD

Did anyone here go to Otakon in Baltimore this year? There was apparantly an amazing movie PH, complete with stilts and a body to drag behind him, but I was so tired from wearing those damn heels, I never saw him. Everyone was telling me about him.

By the way, to anyone who did go, the nurse that was wandering about with a lead pipe and a stuffed animal PH was me. Does anyone have a picture of that? ...I couldn't really see what I looked like through my mask, so I don't really know how I looked, and my camera battery died, so...

Who dressed up as movie-version PH? I don't recall him having his apron up to cover his tits...

Tits? Buh...?

I wish I knew who it was- as I said, I never got to see him, so I haven't a clue. It's my understanding from a friend who did see him, though, that his helmet was made of real metal and rather sharp. So sharp, in fact, that he was seen arguing with the Otakon security about whether or not it counted as "live steel" (a verbotten item to bring into the convention center, y'know).
