Cry and Tear (Emotional Parts)

Post by pwn3d91 »

I'm pretty sure this thread hasn't been made, but if it was please do lock :)

Well was there any part (for example a death scene) that made you feel so bad that you were on the verge of tears? The only thing that made me feel like this was when Anna died, I just liked her for some reason, and the fact that she was slowish made it all the more horrible :/
FACT:Jesus indeed does NOT love the little children.

I'm gonna retitle this thread a bit and will put this into the Quicklink.

Good thread :)

I agree, I also liked Anna. I wouldn't say there was a part that would have made me tear up, but I almost had tears of joy when

What are you some kind of pussy? You wouldn't last 2 minutes in Silent Hill. Now got blow your whiney nose & get over it.

Let's see, emotional parts...

The opening scene was touching.
Seeing the burnings was horrific.
The ending was especially emotional once you realized what it meant. Gives you that "Damn." feeling, especially if you sit through the credits until Tears Of comes on.

Hearing Pyramid Heads knife dragging, aaah I missed you old buddy!

the part where the janitor slides out of the stall too. I'm not sure why people don't like that, it was badass he was freaky and suffering and everything it was awesome.

I pretty much relished in those great darkness scenes. I'm not sure anybody on this board would have tears of sadness, more like tears of joy.

Can we keep this with "sad" theme only? No tears of joy or tears of awesomeness here. Tears of awesomeness should go into the favourite scene thread.

Good thread :)
Okay thank you :)

And yeah I admit, if I were in silent hill, the first thing I would do is shoot myself in the head, and do you know why? Because there is NO such thing as a happy ending in Silent Hill

I was really sad when Cybil died. I kept saying no underneath my breath over and over again, whispering it and then screeching it and flailing my arms.
I love cybil more than I love orange soda. And I love orange soda more than Kel does.

The part at the end when Sharon and Rose arrive home whilst their Dad lays on the sofa still waiting for them.

For my 100th post, I shall say...

I felt the tears welling up a little when the camera tightens in on Cybil's face as she's lowered. That's the only scene that made me even close to teary. That scene made me feel like going home and building a shrine to her.

After seeing the movie a second time, I knew what was coming, so I almost cried at the end. They shall remain eternally parallel

Cybil dying sucks, it pisses me off.

What they did to Alessa and understanding (in such a teeny tiny fragment) her suffering brings my heart to my throat. I'm a mother so that gets to me deeply.

One thing I can say - when I buy the DVD, I'll make sure my kids don't watch it! I watched tons of horrors when I was a young child and it didn't do me much harm (I'm just about the only person in my family not sectioned under the mental health act!) but I wouldn't expose them to anything remotely like that!
Oh, another blocked door... Oh, another blocked door... Oh, another blocked door... Oh, another blocked door................ Locked. F*** it.

The film didnt make me 'cry' or feel deeply saddened, but several parts did get to me.

- The part where Anna gets her cloths and then her skin ripped off. It felt as if PH took her innocence, and then killed her in such a horrific way.
- The part, in which Cybil sacraficed herself so that Rose could get into the elivator, was such a sight of human sacrifise that is rarely seen these days.
- The moment where Cybil got killed by the cultists was possibly the most emotional part of the movie. The amount of detail which was put into that scene, made it feel so much realer.
- At the end of the film, in which Christopher is on the couch, and Sharon and Rose are in the room, but in different 'dimensions. The amount of effort that Chris had put into actually trying to find them, and they are so close, and yet so far.

These moments got to me, as they possibly did with a lot of people.

The single most disturbing/hurtful thing in the movie to me was hearing Alessa scream in pain while she was burnt alive. It hurts me everytime I hear it.

That was a haunting scene.... I loved how Rose just sits there and stares off into space, its pretty sad.

The only thing that stirred any real emotion in me other than hatred - was the very end. It was a good way to end a silent hill movie. Everything else was shit.
If you can read this, I'll kill you.

Yeah the end was haunting, when I saw Sharon smiling and I knew that dark Alessa merged with her and I kinda broke down after the end. The game means a lot to me and so does the movie
