It wasn't It they were spoofing, I think it was Poltergeist.

I really don't even want to think about what they're going to come up with for this movie. I enjoyed it and I'm sure anything they come up with will just be stupid/annoying. Only my opinion though. -shrug-

Yeah, they might do a bad job of spoofing it. It's kinda fun to speculate the kind of stuff they could do with it though, given how bizarre the film is.

Sincerely I hope they do not spoof anything about the Silent Hill movie in Scary Movie 5. Not because I am a rabid fan of the movie (in fact it kind of disappointed me) but simply because that would mean they actually made a Scary Movie 5.

Don't get me wrong, the first one was hilarious, but the second one blew, and three was nothing but lame, unfunny gags. I haven't seen 4 yet, but the previews looked just as bad as 3. *sigh* You know a movie franchise is failing when even Leslie Nielsen can't save it.

Of course Silent Hill does offer up a plethora of things to spoof...and given the proper talent it would no doubt be quite funny. However I am fairly certain that the Scary Movie crew don't have what it takes anymore, and would surely screw it up.

Actually, though, I heard they're not doing anymore Scary Movies. The fourth was the last. That's why the two guys split off and did that romance spoofer- they had nothing else to go work on.
