I almost forgot. Here's the disc cover. You can't make it out that well, but all the monsters are outside in the daylight. PH is guarding his ride. Also there's a miner in the back not getting attacked. :?
Back off man, I'm a scientist.

I don't like the back of the cover at all. It's all squared off. They should have just used new photos and created a totally different design than the photos that they've been using to advertise nonstop. I like that disc cover though.

Someone posted a picture of the Russian box art. It's a huge high quality pic.

I like that Russian one alot.

I was expecting mine to be delivered today, but it'll probably be tomorrow now. I'll have to wait and see what cover I get, but I've no doubt it'll be the ugly one.

Now that's! a cover. It's about as close to a collector's boxset as we've seen so far.

My friend who is quitting his job just "acquired" (READ: sold it to me early) a copy of the SH DVD for America and I scanned in my DVD cover and disc art, and here it is:

Cover - http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/ ... -front.jpg

Disc - http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/ ... een-cd.jpg

I was looking around a while ago and found a cover that I wish we got, someone who is very talented at photoshop made this one:

So yes, I actually do like the American one, trying to get the poster now.[/u]

Wow, nice job guys!

I do like Canada's cover the best, even though it's just Mouthless Poster.. It just seems really effective to me.

But.. I don't really have anything against U.S.'s cover that much. Just kinda hurts my eyes.

Is there someone here who is going to buy the HMV version?
I'd like to see some real photos before eventually purchasing it... it has got a higher price than Play.com one (I'm not from UK so I also have to pay postage from HMV), and I'd be upset if I wasted my money someway.

My copy just arrived right now! Though I believe it's the Canadian Box Art if the U.S one is still that really uglyish one. I'm having trouble getting it to play right now, unfortunately though! I've tried my Xbox 360, no. PS2 chipped, no. Now I'm trying my U.S one. I hope it works!

Edit: I had to resort to taking the DVD player from my room, since it looked terrible through my PS2 [running through a HDTV :(] but it looks great now! I'ma so happy.

All the stores here show the mouthless Alessa cover in their flyers. I'm in Windsor Ontario Canada.
The current progress of my Silent Hill pinball (video) game can be seen here:

I know this might not be interesting information, but the black Alessa cover can be turned inside out to have French as the primary language on the box, rather than English. Maybe this happens with all DVDs there, I don't know but I thought it was pretty cool. What isn't cool though is now I have it I can't be bothered watch it, although it might just be because I'm tired and two hours is something I have to be prepared for!

Thats a good thing.... some of the more recent movies have had BOTH French and English on the same cover and its annoying.... I bought all the Star Wars movies that just had English on the front and side, but Episode 3 had both! So it stands out like a sore thumb!

The above idea for Silent Hill is very smart for those Quebecers..... and i hope they continue to do it that way!!! They'll have their cover...we'll have ours!
