just thought I'd share this with everyone. I'm an extremely impatient person and was gutted to hear the dvd release date in the UK had been put back until september. But here's what you do if you don't have a multi-region dvd player. Get the make and model number of your dvd player Go to yahoo or google, type in the make and model no. of your dvd player along with "unlock region code". Search through the results for your player's region unlock code (you may have to pay for the code but a lot can be found for free, if you do have to pay for a site then make sure that they definitely have the code you're after before you pay) A good example of a pay site you can check for your player before paying on is www.dvdexploder.com. Use the code on your player and set the region to 0 (some players have a different code setup but it should be explained in the instructions on how to enter the code) and wa-hey!! you now own a region free dvd player. Now go to ebay and pick up a region one US dvd release of Silent Hill (if you're lucky it'll be a much lower price than to buy the UK release when it comes out). Plus if you ever want to save some money on movies in the future you can buy any region dvd's and they will work (and will probably be far cheaper than buying region 2 discs)
