Cassandra Dahlia?

In the Making of (path of darkness), debrah kara unger said that she loves playing Cassandra Dahlia, now in the movie shes mentioned as dahlia gillespie, so is dahlia the cult name for her, or is her name cassandra dahlia gillespie?

Her name's Dahlia Gillespie in the movie, I think she just messed up on the name..

I noticed that earlier this morning when I was going through the special features again.

Maybe that was the first name given to her in the movie, or it could be a slip up. You never know, really.

I was going to post this earlier but my power went out...

It's possible that "Cassandra Dahlia" was a working title character name. I mean, they did change Cheryl to Sharon at some point. They may have been swinging one way or another at that point. If you notice, she isn't in her ashy Dahlia makeup at that point, and no one in the flashback sequences calls her Dahlia by name on camera.

I doubt the producers would have allowed her to say the wrong name if there wasn't something to it.

Maybe she was using Cassandra as an adjective to describe certain similiarities between Dahlia and Princess Cassandra of the Greek mythology?

Without seeing her birth certificate there's no way to know that for sure.

I go by my middle name, for example. Perhaps Dahlia does too.

Also, Cassandra has symbolic meaning in Greek mythology. Her beauty caused Apollo to grant her the gift of prophecy. Her name serves as a symbol of romance and tragedy, which could have connections with her movie version.

Remember, Dahlia in the film and the game are different.
