about 5 hours.

BUT ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT.

But if you buy it off of PSN, it comes with a whole bunch of glitches. Be prepared.

The first playthrouth should be 6-8 hours. My fastest time is about 3 hours.

But I don't think the duration matters that much.

It depends entirely on how bad you are at some puzzles.

Double posting is a no-no, from what I hear.

If you take the time to explore, a lot longer.

Also sightseeing.

I noticed that they just re-released silent hill on psn this week. I'm assuming that it is now bug free. Any confirmation on this?

Right now I'm doing the key puzzle to get to the school and its actually a little laggy at times when you are running through town. Not so bad that its not worth buying, but its noticeable.

First time through, probably around 6 hours.

I noticed some minor graphical and audio glitches during my first play through of the PSN version. Nothing to worry about, though. I didn't have any trouble with lag.

What glitches does it come with? With these playstation store games do they ever add anything new? or are they just direct ports?

In the sewers (second time), I could see an enemy through a wall. This only happened one time in the entire game, so I consider it minor.

A few times through out the game, during cutscenes, small bits of audio would drop out while characters were talking to each other.

There's a white, vertical line that appears on the left side of the screen during CG movies.

Individual experiences may (and probably will) vary.

Why is the screen so small on my psp? The game screen won't expand to fill the entire screen. Same with resident evil 1

I'd say every SH playthrough for the first time for me is about eight hours on average. I am a pretty careful player, I have to kill every enemy, I never run much, and I take my time to look at all the cool details and absorb as much info as possible, and I really like to get into the atmosphere.

when they first released it off PSN, some doors couldn't open. The music stopped at times, or it just kept on looping. When I tried to get the sewers (after lisa told me to, and after i got all weapons prior to that) it wouldn't open.

Those are just some.
