About five times, I only play it in the dead of night... and usually by that time I'm too tired to do anything. XD

I've played it about two or more times a year- I go a few or several months between playthroughs. But that might have varied some... I'd say 15- 25 times?! I really don't know for sure...

I started my second go around earlier this evening. I'll probably be up for some time tonight with this one. I'm just about threw the school and already remembering why this game is my favorite of the series :!:

I played this game a lot since its release in 1999. Seriously, I've lost count. However, I can tell you I've played this more than the other SH games. SH1 still manages to make me nervous. I still dread entering a new area in the school because of the Mumblers. It's the sound they make. *shudder*

I played through it four times. Coz I couldn't get the Good + ending. I think I got bad -, bad +, Good - then Good +. It was for the reason that I totally skipped the part where you had to save Kauffman. And I couldn't beat cybill that I had let my brother play her.

Short and sweet. About 5 times. Cause I had to restart twice, due to my corrupting memory card.

Around ten times, mostly on hard, with all the endings achieved.

I would guess about 15-20 times a yr. since I first played it in 1999, so... oh crap math. Hang on *calculates* 150-200ish times, but that is just a guess. Kinda stopped counting after my 100th playthrough which I celebrated w/ a cake I baked in my sisters EasyBake oven. :P I have overwritten the same files over and over again, so I don't know how many for sure. I have one 1 MB memory card full and one of the old gray PS memory cards that don't say how much it hold, full of nothing but New Fear after New Fear files. I have played it before for an entire day, just over and over and over again.

Way too many, and since I recently got it on my PSP and have many down periods in my day, many more.

^ I envy you. I need to play it on my Play Station, and that's at my parent's house.

Somewhere around ten times.

It never quite got to the level of obsession I have with Silent Hill 2 (Over 200 times); it was more played out of respect than anything else. Most of my playthroughs were completed well into the life of the game (In fact, I never finished it until I was twelve or thirteen; I was too scared of it from the first time I played it at nine years old). Once I got all of the endings, I would play it once in a while, just to remind myself where the roots of the series came from, basically. I just recently bought it for my PSP and completed it once again. It aged pretty well, but I'll never be scared of it again, unfortunately.

I've played all the way through only 7 or 8 times, I think. It'll probably be a good while before I play again, because the last time I played was with my little brother, which is exactly how I played the first time. Well, this time we had beer instead of Mountain Dew, and at 24 he's now MUCH harder to scare, but it was still fun.

We were replaying it because we'd found my original copy in boxes of our old junk that Mum had asked us to sort out while we were staying. Entertainingly, this meant that we got to relive the experience of Mum in her PJs coming downstairs and asking "are you kids STILL playing that game?!?" Ah, family <3
