If I ever find my second one, I'll send it to you for free.phantomess wrote:Hmm, if anybody has a PAL SH1 booklet they wouldn't mind parting with (for a price, of course)- if you have an extra copy or something- please PM me. I'd like to get the booklet without buying a game I can't play on my systems. In fact, I'd rather not pay for another copy of the game, period, when all I need is the booklet!
I know I'm weird for wanting it so much. Leave me alone.
I have the same version as the original poster does, with Dahlia on the front. It's a very thin manual.

Re: SH1 Instruction Manual Scan
Obviously, it is the UK PAL version, but scans no.10 & 15 belong to a separate product catalogue leaflet that was included with the original game. Of interest perhaps as it includes pictures of the never released Silent Hill Graphic Novel.
The American NTSC version is all in black and white, though both prints have a Silent Hill question form card in the middle that you could fill out and mail in to Konami to try and win a game in their monthly draw. Perhaps the oddest thing is that the Greates Hits re-release has more colour than the original manual - albeit only on the back. The original has a black and white picture of Dahlia eye's as opposed to a full colour advert for 'Metal Gear Solid - Greatest Hits.'

Ooooh I think even the people who don't own the game will like this. @_@ It's so hard to find the game, let alone the intact instruction manual.

Thanks for sharing that touffu!
Even though I can't read Japanese, I enjoy seeing those versions of books and manuals for video games... It's a weird thing of mine lol
