Writing on the wall...
Did search, found nothing.
I noticed that in 'the other church', there's something written on the wall. I couldn't read it on my PSP, and I'd have to start from the beginning on my PS1 just to see what it says. Can anyone see it? Or is the resolution of it just way too low to see?

very good finding, Sir!
i failed to noticed the writing though.
Now, who could've wrote that? and what did it means?
the writings should be around adult height,
and No God?

I know a girl who can read skies like novels,
can understand that filigree of brilliance,
one hand held up feeling it like Braille:
for her an open window is a monograph
and glass a fabulous retelling.

Well, from what I've been able to tell, the mist world is more or less Dahlia's domain, her 'holdout' against Alessa's influence, but there are still some aspects of Alessa, such as the monsters for instance, that seep through into the mist world. This is likely one of those, a warning of sorts to Harry that doesn't do him much good, since he has no context.

Very interesting. I’ve seen it a few years back and I’m still unsure of its meaning.
We do randomly see Alessa walking into the antique store while Harry is in the hospital. Perhaps that scene wasn’t so random, perhaps it means that Alessa is trying to communicate with Harry… It's possible, i guess, but not probable. If she did try to communicate, she’d probably try harder. I can see why she wouldn’t want to approach Harry directly (Flauros and all), but she’d probably still leave him a more concrete, more thought out message. “NO GOD†means nothing to Harry. “NO SAMAEL†would be more helpful, or better yet - “I AM YOUR DAUGHTER AND I AM TELLING YOU TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE AND TAKE CYBIL WITH YOU THIS PLACE IS GONNA BLOW! ALSO DAHLIA IS A LYING SHIT STAIN OF A HUMAN BEING WHO SHE SET ME ON FIRE. NOW IF YOU DON’T MIND I’M TRYING TO PREVENT THE APOCHALIPSE HERE!
LOVE, CHERYL/ALESSAâ€
So, that’s probably not it.
Thoughts have been known to manifest as writing in the otherworld. So perhaps young Alessa’s doubts are manifested on the wall (In Silent Hill 3, Heather states that Alessa prayed at the altar everyday (we see her praying in the flashback in SH1 too), but that none of her prayers were ever answered). Or those could even be Dahlia’s thoughts (she was waiting for seven years after all, so it could be something like “(still) no godâ€)
Or it means absolutely nothing. But still, it’s a weird place for that particular “meaningless†quote.
