Demonic Children replaced?

I remember reading somewhere the Children in the school got replaced in a certain Silent Hill CD with the Teddy bears of doom.

Was it a european version or so?

Ahhh yes, the Mumblers. In the PAL (European version), the mumblers replace the demon children... It was replaced because the original designs of the demon children were deemed too child-like in the European Ethics Committee. The NTSC (North-American version), we have the demonic children of course lol. You probably either read it somewhere on here or in Translated Memories. Hope this helps

I find it funny the things the Europeans will and won't censor... In another game series I play, the NTSC version is rated Teen because there's an alcoholic reference (a flask... wow. And the contents aren't even revealed), no other reasons to censor it... And the PAL version says Ages 7 and up... It'd be nice if all the ratings were the same and the different regions had the same stuff in it lol.
