Lovin' that! Thanks for sharing! Never seen this ad before, but it's quite amazing.
I'm rarely on the forums anymore. Click here for ways to reach me.
Re: lookie what I found!
I tried to retrieve some French SH ads, but found none. T_TThat makes me want to look for some on google.
I' m pretty sure my mom threw all my old magazines a long time ago.
I found this however, all the SH TV spots : http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game ... ilent+hill
Also, this Pringles ad looks awfully like a SH parody : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-NuDwLw8hk
Re: lookie what I found!
Some day, these will sell for thousands of dollars. People should hang onto them. Tell your grandkids to try asking what they're worth in the 2090s.

Why is game advertising so, hmm, deceptive?
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Re: lookie what I found!
Thanks, dude. I haven't ever seen this ad before (I was just kid when this first came out so I was still scared by RE).
This certainly does bring back memories of the first time I played SH. Well, actually the first one I ever played was SH3 but nevertheless. . . .Ahhhh, good times. Gooood times.

Re: lookie what I found!
I remember seeing this ad in an issue of Gamepro. I was really interested in it, and I basically begged my stepdad to take me to the gaming store Funcoland (I think that's what it was called at the time, before GameStop took over) to get it. I had played RE and RE2 a lot by then, and was pretty much unprepared for what horror awaited me in Silent Hill. Since then, my gaming standards have continued to rise...

Your questions would be better received if they managed to unveil the full extent of your confusion, ie, "I don't understand, what is a 12 years?"Kaede wrote:I repeat: What?
