is there an uncut pal version of silent hill 1?
at german amazon somone is offers an uncut english version with german subtitles, wich should be playable on germen playstations.

I just read, that those demon children are also NOT in the japanese version and that they are only in the us version. Have they been added espacially for that version?
I also read that the pal version has a letter, which the us version dosen't have. Which letter is it?

As far as I know, the only way to get the completely uncensored versions of the games is to go to Japan. However, even after all of that, the games might not work on your system because of that infuriating region thing.
Everyone knows just how strict the British Censoring Board or whatever they're called are. Always banning the best games or stripping them down of their best content.

Ok, I know about games having a [JAP] (Japanese) version, and a [UEA] (Usa, Europe, Australia). But I never understood what PAL stands for. What is a PAL version of a game?
