Another question in regards to Nowhere, is there actually a freakin map to it? I read a walkthrough that claimed it was in the room with the bird cage, and I spent ages looking for it but there wasn't one

That's like if I said THERE IS NO EVOLUTION. WE DID NOT COME FROM MONKEYS. And someone said, "Well they think it's true, so it must be true!" despite scientific evidence to the contrary. Opinions are never facts, and rightly so.

I was thinking more along the lines of "Whatever is true for you may not be true for me" or "One's heaven is another's hell."

As for evolution, whatever "scientific" evidence points to it, until someone can witness it occur over the course of millions of years, it's still theoretical rather than absolute fact.

They don;t need too, I know a little off topic but they can see it over the course of years with micro-orgainisms that have short life spans and pressures applied to populaitons.

But bacteria =/= mammals. Plus the bacteria don't actually change into different species, they just form immunities to different things, get stronger. All they've really proven is that Natural Selection CAN make organisms stronger, but it hasn't been proven that it changes the species into a new species...yet.

Very true.. which makes the concept of this stage all the more mysterious and creppy!
I have to say, nowhere is my favorite part of SH1.. and I think it laid the groundwork for many of the other ideas to come in the rest of the series.

Maybe he's talking about Silent Hill guys. If Alessa believes something is true than it is in her world. Maybe he means manifestation.

Where is Nowere:In your mind or in Alessa´s?
What is it?
Why do you get there by the Otherworld hospital?
Is it part of the Diabolic SH(Otherworld) or is it something even deeper?

It's simply a combination of Alessa's past memories, basically the environments Harry has traveled through in the game. It's also a great way for developers to fuck with the players head, though it may be considered lazy on their part as well...

At that point in the game your delving deeper into Alessa's mind than ever before. There is no REAL location, for it doesn't really exist.
