A technical question or two

Have you seen Harry's daughter anywhere? Short, dark hair?

A technical question or two

Post by Justicar333 »

Was looking at getting a copy of Silent Hill 1, and having not used a PS1 game on a PS2 before was wondering. Will a PS1 memory card be needed to play it? Also, will I need a PS1 controler for it? Or any other odd things? Hadn't even thought about it till got to looking online for a copy and found some articles suggesting this could be so. Seems kinda silly to me, but if there is anywhere I can get a stratight up answer on what it takes to play SH1 figured this is it.

By the way, anyone else looking for one as well, seemed like a better deal here

than anything could find on ebay. It's not an original packaging, but it's half as much. Probably grab part 2 while I'm at it, save on that shipping. :)

hmm.. that's supposed to go right to the search result, just type in Silent Hill in their search, pulls up all the titles.

Get a PSone memory card (essential). PStwo controller will be just fine.

Oh and you'll get used to the graphics - the game is totally worth playing

Yeah I bought the game and forgot about the PSone memory card thing, but luckily I had one at home, just beat the game today and totally forgot about the graphics thing. :P

You can copy files from a PS1 card to a PS2 card. You cannot access them while playing a game, but you can archive them that way, and it gives you damn near limitless capacity for PS1 saves, as a PS1 block is only 16k.
