No, Alessa would be the creator/caster. It's a different role to holder/keeper. The holder/keeper of the crest simply has it with them, and presumably keeps it safe, while the creator/caster of the crest is responsible for making it or using it.
^Sorry, I misunderstood. As for Heather and the seal, I wouldn't consider her the keeper or anything, considering the seal is worthless in SH3. If Lisa really does have it on/with her in SH1, then she would be the keeper because it has power, whereas Heather is simply carrying what she believes to be a piece of junk. If the seal Heather had contained any power at all, then I would consider her it's keeper. It's like, if I were to pick up a worthless piece of junk that doesn't serve any purpose, I wouldn't be it's keeper. I would merely be the person holding on to it. That's all Heather is. "Keeper of the whatever" suggests what they have is worth something, or powerful.
helldescent, I apologize for my edits above, I completely missed the fact that spoilers don't work with the current forum theme (I've been using the default) and thought you were just being careless. Hopefully the spoiler problem will be fixed before too long, since I know there are still people who haven't played the other games.
In the meantime, I think it would be helpful if—at least in cases where the game being spoiled is not the main topic of discussion—a warning could be placed at the beginning of posts containing spoilers. For example, in your post above you could start with:
***contains spoiler for SH3***
It may be asking too much, and you're by no means obligated to do so, but I really hate to have games spoiled for people. Again, I'm very sorry for my rudeness.
Also—and it hurts to defend helldescent . . . it really, really does—this thread is inundated with spoilers already. It seems moot to actively demand all members, past and present, to go in and edit their potential spoilers when F's initial post could include the overall Spoilers Present in the subject line.

Granted, the thread in general is spoiler-y by nature, but most of the spoilers in this thread pertain to the first game, which is to be expected. Members who haven't finished SH3 (and I'm sure they exist) would have no reason to expect spoilers for that game here in the SH1 forum. That's what made me hulk out.
