nothing downloadable yet. I know now how to mod this beast... but i am facing some great programming problems. PSX games are not very well suited for modding.... i do my best though...

RE 1,5 I saw on the Yu Tube, looks like RE2 was skinned from all that content, similar to SH2...
what do you think of SH2 and Pre-release version?? Have you ever encounter anything that could lead to it? (download it somewhere/buy it/whatever way to get it)

Dude, just got a geekgasm with the thought of adding monsters (Phead in Silent Hill 1!) Personally, Id stick with Silent Hill monsters, but that's just me. Wow, love the idea....make sure you share everything! :D

Probalby i leave the zombies out. It would be too... you know. too... emm... usual?

But here is a list of stuff to come as soon as possible:

- handgun will change into berreta m92 (also with sound)
- some other weapon enchancemensts
- monster enhancements (Stronger life, different skin, sound)

Also... I am going to remake my site so that everything will be nice and clean...


This is my main project right now, re15 project stands by (due the fact that it is extremely hard project) little bit.

Anyway.... ALL IDEAS ARE WELCOME.... shout out here anything you can imagine.. What would you like to see in game, what changes etc.

Btw little word about my mod:

It is alomst 99% certain that it wont work on psx nor ps2. It will work ONLY with pc. psx emulator is main and my mod is second program witch hooks up to emulator and then takes over the control. PAL or NTSC both will go...

So far mod is doing quite well. memory systems running ok, now only limits are in imagination... :D

Tools... c++ (windows) , c psx (psyq) . lot of psx utilities.

The most interesting thing is that I am trying to do level editor. So that all of you can create USER LEVELS and perhaps even SCENARIOS.... puzzles. But this is not going to happen soon.......

If i will have some tools - i will release them... right now all is in alpha stage.

Btw, pyramed head.... probably will walk in bachman road :) maybe even 3 of them.... stay tuned

Awesome. This is pretty sweet. I never get excited when people say they are modding something, cause they never finish! Here though, you have a very smart idea. Work with the tools that the game has....smart.

My Ideas that could be cool:

1) Give Cybill her own playable level - what fan has not wanted that since the play novel?

2) Add random sounds to the game - ala Silent Hill 2 in the Apts - sometimes you hear one, then sometimes a different one. I always liked the randomness of not knowing what to expect.

3) "Zombies" could be cool as a nod to Resident Evil, just give them the Silent HIll treatment (maybe make them look more fleshy and move in an unusual way. By the time I got done making 'zombies' I am not sure if that is what most would recognize them as.

4) Pheads - some will love this (I do), some purists will not, but please add that - I would totally geek out :shock:

I saw that short vid but it doesnt show nothing particular...means you just mastered the camera hack or saving best for the last?

it is not just camera hack. if u look more into it.

when i first made a hack, i had just memory addresses of camera position and direction.

But now... this thing turns smoothly.... within machine code (psx - r3000a)


Now.. secondly the FOV (field of view) is a lot wider than usual in game.

And third it is a bullet time camera movement - all is stopped.


But if u still think it is not particular, then wait.. for more to come....

oke listen up people... there are 3 mods in my mind.

a) varierity of weapons, more weapons....
b) harder enemies (or perhaps more of them)

these are for HARDCORE players

c) the SCENARIO. new levels, new items etc. this is the main. I like the atmosphere of silent hill, no other game (not even the sh2, sh3, sh4 and sho have this atmosphere)..... i will keep it... but what i want is new... stuff to explore... coprende???

new puzzles.... just to keep us running in the silent hill...

and yes, it is possible to make enemies smarter... I am spending lot of time to learn R3000a assemly language so that i can program directly into ram... and at the same time understand what is going on in certain areas of memory. I do know c/c++ too tough.

now.... i will soon add feature list in my site....

everything will be there. including all YOUR IDEAS ....

As for the variety in weapons, that can be cool as long as its not crazy - I almost like the idea of them staying the same - if we have harder enemies, think of the challenge!

As for harder enemies, cool - I am all for that.

The new levels appeal to me the most - you could do a level with Cybill exploring prior to Harry waking up in the beginning of the game - you could give her another in the middle.

I am thinking about same level or class weapons.

But yeah tougher enemies are one of my earliest idea. Like Intro Alley +30 dogs... or similar. It would be kickass...

And of course ... remake of puzzles. Let's say piano puzzle. different text, and different solution.

:D anyway... you guys keep shouting out ideas, i keep modding....

I see what you mean....I cannot wait to see Pheads. How hard will it be to place Silent Hill 2, 3 or 4 monsters into the original SIlent HIll game?
