How do you guys put the posters on your wall?

Post by Plague »

I recently bought a SH1 poster and I really want to put it on my wall. One problem..I don't want to stick holes in it or stick tape to the back of it because it'd ruin it, and I want it to stay mint.
How do you put your posters up without damaging them?

I put most of my posters in frames! Its a lot easier to take the frame down and change the poster when you want to put up a different poster, and you don't have to put any tape / tacs on your poster that way :)

I'd say tape but you don't want it. . .

You could also consider framing your poster.

Places like Michaels and A.C. Moore sell frames specifically made for poster-sized images. They're usually around $20 or so.

I guess it depends on how mint you want your poster to stay. 'Poster hangers' are another option (cheap too) - just do a search and you'll see what they look like. Of course a frame is by far the best as it will stop it getting dusty and will keep it nice and flat.

But remember to keep all sunlight out of your room as the colours may fade :D

I use that blue stick stuff that was posted above. I got it at Wal Mart in the office supply section for like $.89. I have tons of movie posters and it washes off the walls with water and leaves no stains/marks. Haven't tried to get them off posters yet though.
