Serial Number VS. Catalogue Number

Post by RinoTheBouncer »

Hey all,
I'm so confused about serial and catalogue numbers for silent hill soundtrack
well SH1 EU version has a catalogue no. like this "KOE ..." and the JP is "KICA ..." now what about the serial numbers ? which are like ASIN, UPC ..etc. ? are the true publishers kings records ? thanks alot.

Mmm, i'm confused with your question. The catalog number makes the difference between versions, if you are talking about the serial number engraved on the disc, it only count in soundtrack without a catalog number like limited soundtracks or promos. Each region have their code style.

I don't have a bootleg to compare, but i'm pretty sure those codes are not the same between originals and bootlegs.
