Homecoming for the Wii? Yes or No?

Post by simeonalo »

For those of you who don't have Homecoming for PC, the 360, and the like, but you have a Wii, do you think you would buy this game if it came out for the Wii? This is just my opinion, but I would :D. I want to see what you guys think, so please answer the poll

Well, with all the "fighting" gameplay they had in that game, it would probably be pretty fun on the Wii.

Actually, I already have played it.... using Wii controls on my PC. I made a post of it long ago....

That said...it wouldn't hurt....

I could see it working pretty good with the wii controls although I'd pass on buying it.

Sure, why the hell not? It was a fun ass game, and the Wii is my main console, so fire it up!

This should be a poll restricted to people who don't hate the game.

I'd be fine with it, but I don't have a Wii.

Basically what I was going to say. It looks like it would be fun with the the wii controler. Swing the remote at the monsters, maybe a first person view where you can use the remote as a flashlight to get a better look at things. I had a wii for about 1 week and ended up traiding it in. At that time there weren't to many games for the system that I could really get into but the futures looking pretty bright for it :!:

no. but that's cos i don't care for the wii. i'd rather see a SH game done on the 360 with Natal's controls.

WOuld be really cool although I dont know if the wiimote has enough buttons for all the functions... In fact must be a lot easier to aim your gun with the wimmote than the mouse/analog stick... Also would be easier to use the wiimote target for choose your health drinks or optional answers... Those icons with numbers are really confusing...

Man, make SHH for WII!! It would be a lot more enjoyable in that console!!

Maybe if it came with the original stuff that was to be in Homecoming. Like, the original dialog, Walter Sullivan's cameo, maybe a few new things also, like a PH battle, or new level designs all together. As long as they got rid of all the removed stuff, but kept some things, I'd give it a shot.

....P.S., MOAR ENDINGS.

Well it would be good to see it on the Wii because maybe the flashlight could be improved. The lighting in the game was TERRIBLE! The only issue I can see is how the combat would go since the game was best with the knife and doing the combo. While I would like it on the Wii for the flashlight. The weapon mechanics make me say I would rather see it stay on the PS3/360/PC.

If I would like? No. Reason: I don't like Wii, I'll never buy one.

But seriously, port it. But that won't happen, I'm sure of it. There's plenty of games that needed to be ported to other consoles/systems and the guys in charge just don't do it. Shame.

Yes, if the controls weren't tacked on. No more heroes/RE 4 wii edition fusion of gameplay? Could work.

I could picture it now: Hold Z to ready your weapon, Control stick to move, Wii remote to swing the weapon, Move both controllers to dodge. I suppose it could innovate the combat system but it was too clunky to begin with. Homecoming was one of my favorites but I'd much rather see it on a more powerful console with normal controllers.

Not really, no, solely because you'll have loads of fanboys and fangirls complaining about the reduction in graphical quality and the "tacked on" control scheme.
