Writing on Cell walls

Post by fogfactor »

hey, i was wondering aorund aimlessly through the prison stage of SH: Homecomming, and i noticed that the inmates were rather bored with themselves, so they decided to write on the walls!
most of the writing i've seen has been completly random such as :

"I want Pizza"
"I hate my mom"
"I Love my mom" etc..

but then i noticed 1 peculiar scribble in the midst of all the cells, it said:

"You're Not Here"

being a long time SH fan i noticed this referance right away, so i started looking for more throughout the cells, and found:

"Room of Angels"
"Whitchcraft"
"The Terminal Show" among others.

Discuss please.

Duh. It's the prisoners' favorite Akira Yamaoka songs.

They're all in the prison, in almost all of the cells, they're very faint so you have to get kind of close to see them. :)

Wow, I've never noticed that. Thanks for letting me know!
I love the Silent Hill Series. The games: Homecoming, Origins, and Shattered Memories, did nothing wrong whatsoever, they were developed well, and did things different. Just because they were not by Team Silent doesn't mean that they're bad games. I believe in this series. I believe that one day, we can have a game that will make all Silent Hill fans Happy. I believe that Silent Hill Downpour can achieve this.
Team Silent may be gone, but their series isn't. Instead... it's here, it's alive.

If you agree, add it to your sig.

That is a great find. I never would have looked there. It could also be a refrence to the water prison world in Silent Hill 4?

There's a writing inside one of the particular cells with the following: "Captain Coatrack was here."

And there's a member of this very forum called Captain Coatrack. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not...
