Does anyone have a picture of Alex's Dogtag necklace? I'd like to get one made for me that is the same as Alex's.

That looks like it says 206-12-1972 Does that mean these tags are similar to James' letter? Could it be that this means the dog tags are part of

I know we are told that they are his dad's dogtags, but looking at the picture, there is no way Adam was born in 1972. He is in his 50's which would put his DOB in the late 50's to early 60's. And with 206 being a recurring number in the game we could say that these are what Alex thinks the dog tags say.

Standard issue military dog tags indicate last name, first initial, social security number, blood type and religion. Thus, 206-12-1972 is Adam's social security number.

There's not much more to think about it, though. Standard issue dog tags display
this information. This is exactly what Adam Shepherd's dog tags show.
According to Adam's dog tag—correlated to www.socialsecurity.gov—Adam was most likely born in Pennsylvania.
