There. Game completed on Hard!
When I was strapped to the chair in the Underground, and Holloway was telling me about the sacrifices, Alex was missing. I couldn't take it seriously. Holloway was talking all this crazy shit to an empty chair! Haha. And she started to drill into the empty chair, and she apparently had a struggle with herself, trying to drill into the chair when she suddenly impaled herself in the chin with the drill. Even after the cutscenes, when I regained control of Alex, he was missing. I was moving around with an invisible person. This is by the way the same playthrough, and the one I mentioned earlier, where Alex stood with his back to Wheeler and talked in the cell after first boss.

You got that glitch too?

I never thought that a glitch would make me laugh so hard, but it was just hilarious.

The funniest moment for me, was when I first saw the final boss: THE ACCORDION HEAD!! Image

I facepalmed hard and started laughing to prevent myself from crying over the ridiculousness of that scene.

But yeah, the whole game was like a big (and bad) joke to me.

Check out the merry-go-round in the playground. Alex says that his dad used to push him around on it so hard that he would throw up. Later, Alex actually does throw up after the Scarlett boss battle. I was playing through with a friend, and Alex puking became a running joke for us. We'd just randomly say things like "Sometimes, I run low on health drinks, and I just throw up" or "One time, my mom forgot to pack my peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich in my lunch and I just threw up."

Damn, I really wasn't expecting Caine to come up with that, at all. I mean I didn't at all look at the title of the thread and predict Caine saying those exact words once. What a creative, unpredictable person and generally fun guy to be around who contributes so much to the forum.

I thought Asphyxia was pretty funny, you know. Since the other bosses represent something about them and/or the way their child died (Joey was a mutated tree with what looks like a person shaped black plastic bag in its mouth, Scarlet is a broken doll, and Josh is the baby in some fashion of drowning woman type thing) but Asphyxia, nothing but the name has anything to do with choking to death. Unless you happen to be drinking something when this collection of mouths, arms and assholes appears.

I dunno, I thought the collection of mouths, arms, and assholes were pretty hot.

But that just adds to my Silent Hill Monster-Fetish thing I got going on.

Don't get me wrong, The laughter quickly dies as I run around trying to survive this horror, but when I first saw her, I had trouble taking her seriously until she started moving and attacking.

Yeah that boss, well, I figure the hands over it's mouth are to do with the asphyxiation, but I did crack up when I saw the big ass it has at the back.

That's my favorite funniest moment as well.

My friend and I made similar jokes about Alex's vomiting too.

When Alex was going to throw up after Scarlet, my friend was all, "OH NO, THIS LOOKS LIKE SECRET SYMBOLISM. "

For some reason it gave me a pretty good laugh.

^Alex throwing up was a bit unexpected to me. But it wasn't funny.

It was kinda funny before the "affair" with Scarlet. He grabbing the doll and the doll then becomes bald, then he screams. . . Lol.
