It seems that i've made a mistake..i kinda mixed up one scene with another...The teddy bear with the green goo appears in one of the cutscenes with Laura(cant remember which one) and the one in Angela's room is covered with slash marks(next to the boarded door)...the slashes are red in colour and depict an image of abuse..it's a very disturbing image that sticks with you when you realize what the symbolism stands for..I feel so sorry for Angela...

Teddy bear with the green goo happens in the living room of room 209, right before James sees Angela a second time

About what the teddy bear represents:
I have posted my theory up here about this very thing. The teddy bear with the green goo represents Thomas Orosco's stabbing death.
Be warned though, not alot of people agree with this theory.
