I personally believe you guys are overthinking it. It's more of your first clue to show that James isn't "all there". Throughout the game, he does numerous things someone in a normal mindset wouldn't even THINK of. (Sticking his hand in a dirty toilet for an object and not even bothering to wash his hands afterwards, jumping into dark holes, putting his hand into a hole after being bitten by something in it, etc.)Torgo wrote:But here's the big question: why does he leave the door open?

There are those who still know, they're still home. We're still home.
You watch me, just watch me. I'm calling. I'm calling. And one day, all will know...

It's probably open so the player knows to look in there for the map.
Shop smart, shop S-Mart.
Re: James' Car?
What Anollex said.I think James lacks that sense of self security since he is probably so confused. He probably doesn't think about it or doesn't care, hes just caught up in his head over Mary and what the hell is going on.
Or maybe hes just that kid who forgets to look both ways before he crossses lol
