Silent hill 2:restless dreams data transfer

well I own the original since it's my favorite game in the series my girlfriend is gonna try to buy me Silent hill 2: GH /RD well I was just wonder I have a save with all endings complete and 10 star..so if I get this can i load up that data and still have my hyber blaster kill everything in 1 hit...or will I have to get the 2 new endings and then get 10 star again. ps2 ver. NTSC

I'm not sure, but I think that the games are different when it comes to load a previous game.

At least when I started playing SH2 Director's Cut it didn't give me the choice to load from my previous SH2 (regular game).

But I'm not sure....

It will not acknowledge a mid-game save until after you've beaten it in its entirety once. Also, it won't show that you have any completed saves until after you've beaten it.
