Wouldn't personally find it worth $120 USD a year for some PS2 and PSP roms but it's certainly better than the game being unplayable so I hope it turns out to be true.

Yeah I'd love to get access to some of the great catalog of PS2 games once I get my PS5. Plus Silent Hill being available on there might help curb the crazy prices the games are going for second-hand since that won't be the only way to (legally) play the games anymore.

Technically it'd still be cheaper to just buy a used copy of Silent Hill 2 for $100 and own it forever than paying $120 to buy the right to play it for a single year. Though when you factor in the possibility of all the PS2 (and one PS1) Silent Hill games being on there, yeah if that happens it'll definitely be a solid alternative for people. I doubt it'll change the price of the physical copies, those are only going to get rarer as the years go on, but given that Konami certainly isn't going to be doing new ports of these games anytime soon (and they botched the last ones), I'll be glad to see them here. Still wish the service was cheaper and I'm sure as hell not paying that, but I'm glad for others.
