A supporter of the Leave ending? Glad to know we have that in common, haha.
A lot of this is repeated information we've heard in the past, but it was a decent watch/listen.
Disappointed Dave didn't really get to do more than he did.

There is no replacing Guy, Monica, and Dave in my opinion.
Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn is my favorite voice actress of all time (big part to GITS:SAC) She has an amazing voice and she did an excellent job as Mary/Maria but it was just too weird. I'm just really used to the original.
It's kind of like watching Die Hard 3 but replacing the voices of Bruce Willis and Samual l Jackson with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. It would be awesome but it just wouldn't feel right.
I did not care much for the original voice actress for Angela. It was like scratching nails on a chalkboard.
(Oh, and Morgan Freeman will be reading my eulogy at my funeral.) lol

He looks like Ray Liotta when he laughs. He also looks kind of villainous. I don't know why people diss the voice acting in SH2, i liked James and Mary/Maria at least.
It's good he didn't say he liked In Water just because it's the fan favourite (at least, AFAIK).
I wonder why he's doing these fan things lately.

I can't believe i earned 10 Silent Hill cash for this.

I enjoyed this interview until the "do you think SH should have ended after 3" question.
One, for obvious reasons.
Two, Konami never to my knowledge went bankrupt. It certainly is not partially owned by a bank. The people in charge are the people who made the games we grew up playing. I'm not saying that Guy Cihi made that up / lied - but he certainly got his wires crossed in regards to Konami history. Konami is very successful in Japan. They own a huge chain of health/fitness clubs, and are the largest manufacturer of gaming (casino) machines not affiliated with the Yakuza.
Given how many people take his words as gospel it's frustrating he would tell an inaccurate story like that.

You need to pass the word along to Konami to look into becoming affiliated with the Yakuza. We need to find out just what a Japanese mob influence would have on games like Metal Gear and Silent Hill.PyramidFace wrote:They own a huge chain of health/fitness clubs, and are the largest manufacturer of gaming (casino) machines not affiliated with the Yakuza.
If pyramid head doesn't have a full back tattoo in Book of Memories, I will be extremely disappointed.

But not really. >_>
I forgot to look that up. When he said that, I thought it sounded odd, but I completely forgot to follow up on any research on it.
